Games that destress?? Uhh...Halo? No not really. Parappa the Rapper is a very pleasent and non-violent game. I'd say any rhythm/dance game would be destressing.

It depends. Some people would say that going on a rampage in GTA: San Andreas would be a good way to get rid of stress. _________________ "You know what? My squirrel instinct tells me he's even more of a bastard than I first thought." - Gene Hunt |

It's opinion, not fact. What is good for others, may not be right for some. If you do the report on a survey you did that would be more accurate.......anyway.
Any game that would help you chillax is a game like DDR. Any game that you can play with your friends and just have fun will take your mind off of something. Basically any multiplayer game is good. For me anyway. I love RPG's too so those can help sometimes too. |

What means this "destress"?
Do you mean "de-stress" (as in stress relief) or "distress" (as in troublesome) ? _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

I'd say, if you are going to play something, play something you can beat because you aren't de-stressing if you are screaming at the game or glaring at it from frustration. Simple games like... Sponge Bob Square Pants or something (oh how I despise that sponge) or games where you solve puzzles and just unlock stuff. But again, if it frusterates you, then that isn't a good idea. Game with a high level of complication are (for some people) too challenging and brain wracking. But if you are a serious gamer, that might do the trick. Did I help any?

In my opinion, Alien Trilogy with the ending of the game cheats. I like to play it when i've have someone really irriatate me and i put myself with all the weapons and indestructable thing on and go blast the queen and pretend the person that pee me off is the queen im blowing up. _________________ http://www.fanart-central.net/profile-Kes.php- Profile.

Any Burnout game, especially the Takedown title of the series. The crash mode let's you dash towards a busy traffic junction and disturb the peace. Just smash your car on one pedestrian car and watch the rest of them pile up. Sure takes away stress!
I dunno. I just feel like breaking something whenever I'm stressed out. _________________ --Small minds talk about people, average minds talk about events, great minds talk about ideas. But of a humble heart, the Lord wil not scorn, and from its abundance the mouth speaks.

I'm thinking any game which suits you. all games are good to lower levels of stress. The ol' Ms. Pac-Man and Tetris and such are probably prime examples. I think Tetris takes the cake though, if you have the patience. Tetris
For me, any immersive game helps me through the day. Some FPS's can get frustrating if you're stuck n a level or the online players are difficult but then, you can always join another server?
I play the SOF2 online multiplayer demo. It's fun. The only thing my PC will play. |
