Try defragging your system. It frees space between lost and deleted and corrupt files which aren't normally cleaned after something is normally deleted/lost etc. Go to click Start > Programs > Accessories > System tools > Disk Defragmenter and let it go. It may take some time depending on your hard drive size but ultimately it should clean some space.
The thing about you extracting files and such from something you've downloaded.. Maybe you extracted the files to a part of your system and you didn't realise? If you can remember any of the file's filenames, try searching for them and erasing them from where you find them.

Otherwise, buy some new memory.

Your D:/ drive is often the CD drive, in which case, no. You can't use that to store information.

So is Anime. (Get DVDS and Cds)

and Some Unused games are Unnessesary.

or go buy a thumb drive and put all your extra files there. Or defrag it,to free up more space.
