Does anyone know any artists who you think have great talent or writing skills, but they seemed to be ignored because they're new, or not many people know about them. Well list them here and put a link to their gallery so everyone else can check it out.
Here's my list: eidan_eishou (Arlia) I think her drawings skills are very good and she's doing well on stories too. She needs the most support on her stories since no one liked them on DevianArt. Also, the comments happened to turn out into a total flame war which resluted in her getting kicked out. So either way, give her some support
Mistlight (Wendy) She has good drawing skills in my opinion and definitely has talent. |

Would it be less scary if it was the opposite?
Neither of them looks as if they can color, it is upto them to promote themselves. Survival of the fittest in this site. _________________ "Sarah's future makes me sad." - Benk |

Survival of the fittest? Someone's been watching Fear Factor too much. This is to help people who you think do well. There's nothing wrong with that. So your saying that it's wrong to try and promote someone's artwork, huh? Get a life. I'm trying to help out my friends. And furthermore, you don't have to be able to color to have a good quality picture, so get over it. |

I'd have to say quite a few artist are "over looked" on this site. :3
Here's a few:
BdrixHaettC
Ghost_Guy
But those are just two people. There's a bunch of people in my profile that I have favorite that don't really get much credit on this site... _________________

This entire topic is full of spam by DF and Brian. When you go off topic, or just start ranting and bitching about a topic that is spam. If you feel the need to bitch, make a topic in spam. Please don't f*ck up perfectly good topics by spamming.
DF and Brian you both have just earned a spam warning. Please check out the rules. I'll clean this topic up tomorrow. Too tired at the moment. _________________ |

Underappreciated does not mean that person feels they need more comments. Maybe they don't even care how many people view their art, thus would not feel the need to whore it around. But if someone else really likes it, there's no harm in sharing it with others.
And this website is not the most impartial community around, given the fact it's FANART. Sure, skill goes into it, but subject matter is at least equally important if not quite a bit more. People typically come here to see art of their favorite character, not the best skill around.
It's like that on any art site. There's the select group of people who have the perfect mix of skill, style/originality, and subject matter. And then there's those that only have one or two of those and don't get noticed. Whether they care or not, there's nothing wrong with other people saying "check out this person you may not have seen before". _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. thanks fallen and Lazycarter. And thanks for offering to clean up the thread. Anyways, I guess I need to apoligize for the outburst, so sorry DF, and you too Brain. Just don't chew each other (or anyone else) over something that is based on only opinions. And while I'm here, another great artist is: eterna2 |

I know, I just think she's agreat artists, but I asked some of the people and nobody seemed to know her, though maybe it's just me. Either way,
arythusa
She doesn't have much up, but she draws well. |
