Tattoos

I got my first when I turned 20. It costed me 60$, way too much and they messed it up. I got it done by a professional and he sucked hard! I know of some people who will do the same size tatt as my first one (which is about 2 inches in length and 3 inches in width) for 15$ I'm going to one of them next.

I already have a sketch out of my next one. It's something I designed for me and a friend, along time ago. We aren't friends anymore, but I still want to get this done. I may change it a little first, but I love it, it's two sea horses intertwind to make out a heart. I'll post it later, when I find the pic.

I know of a couple places around here with similar prices, but I've only walked into them and quickly walked back out. So dirty, and the people working there weren't overly impressive. If you've got a nice clean shop with talented artists that will do it for that much, damn.

$150 USD. Sounds about right for the picture. Tsuki-no-neko, who used to frequent here before moving to DA, recently got a great deal on her first one, a set of wings across her upper back with some shading for $200.

Not positive if that's accurate, but more and more states are changing to no minors at all, not the other way around.

Tattoos cost a lot of money anywhere at good shops. A small one will run you $50. :wacko:

Well I'm still not sure. I did talk to this one woman I know that lives like three or four houses down from me, 'cause my family and hers know each other.
Anyways, I forgot to ask her how old you have to be, she is like 31 now, she has a tattooo on her back and on her right ankle, she said that the one on her ankle costed like 150$ I think her other one was somewhere just as much. She said to me that you want to get a tattoo where no one can see, because as you get older, or when your all wrinkled up, you'll regret having a tattoo. I know that's true but you can get them removed. I should make myself a tattoo book or something, and think of a tattooo that I want to get. I still want a tattoo on my arm.

As for tattoo shops that have cheep prices for them, those are the shops that don't have very fourtunet artists there, you just have to face the fact of life that the good tattoos od very fourtunet artists those things cost alot, and it should be worth it! And for the unfourtunet your tattoo given by them for a low price, it will suck, unless your lucky.

I'll get a tattoo alright, I have enought time to think of what I want.

Me too ^^ Just today actually (happy B-day to me! )


I got a tattoo of my symbol (basically something I came up with when I started drawing and have been signing my pictures with since then ^^ I stylized it last year for my site so I got a tattoo of it)


it's kinda shiny in this photo cuz I had to put A&D ointment on it after I showered (which is also why my hair's wet) T.T;; I'm gonna smell like a baby's butt for 2 weeks lol

Awesome tattoo Raymei. I think its great that you got a tattoo of something you created so therefore it has like more meaning to you. Did it hurt when they were putting it on you? Or was it not as bad as you thought it would be?

I want to get a tattoo someday. But its like against my religion apparently. <_< I mean, whats so wrong about getting an image of a rose imprined on your lower back?

It wasn't nearly as bad as everyone was telling me it would be.

The whole process felt like a sewing needle being dragged across your skin (half the time it felt like that but really light so it was more ticklish/irritating, but about 40% of the time it felt like that...but with a LOT of pressure XP )
I didn't bleed, like, at ALL lol So the guy said I should heal up pretty fast

But my neck hurt worse.
I had to keep my head down throughout the process and my neck was KILLING me halfway through. lol



After that it felt like a sunburn for maybe an hour ^^ haha

y'know o.o I'm dumbfounded why almost everyone I know (except for my best friend) is surprised I went through with it.

i find all tatooes quite tasteless, especially really large ones :huh: tiny black ones on ur hip or on the lower back r nice though ^_^
