I've played that game before too, my little bro's an addict. I bought the second one and played it for a little bit, got mad on some mission I think and gave it to my friend for a going away gift. |

I beat both games at least 3 times each. Dullhalan (however you spell that) was really annoying, and so was Deadbeard. Why are all the sidequests a pain? Sheesh...but still, it's a great game. |

To: SilentSoul92,
I sorta forgot about Deadbeard... I'll see what I can do.
And Dullahan's weekness is wind. Before the battle, put nearly all your djinn on standby for both of your teams, leaving only ONE djinni on each character (I Recomend the ones that can create an "Earthean/Watery/Fiery" shield on you [Granite, Flash, and Shade]) on set, but only if those characters have nine djinn each.
As the battle begins, summon your strongest creatures. With luck, you'll summon all four before the next round begins. Keep fighting, but don't heal the first group. you want to use as many summons as possible, but they should all be dead by the next round.
As the next team joins the battle, summon all of those powerful creatures agian. Keep hitting Dullahan with over the next couple of turns, using phynergies like Odyssey ect. and healing if need-be. With a little luck, you'll finish off Dullahan before he finishes off you. After, you are rewarded with the stone tablet containing the Iris summon.
Tip:---> Watch out for his attack "Formata Sage", It can pretty much destroy
anyone with one hit.
Tip:---> Watch out for his "Djinn Storm", it'll put all of your djinn on recover. _________________ Humankind Cannot gain anything without first giving something in return; To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's First Law Of Equivelant Exchange... |
Omigod, why didn't I see this thread sooner?! I LOVE Golden Sun!!!      I am like an expert in its fanon!
I never got to Dullahan, didn't collect all of the djinn. After I beat TLA, I was like, "Forget it, I'm not spending hours collecting the rest and levelling everyone up to level 50 to stand a fighting chance!" And I put the game down. And now, about a year later, my sister's gone and lost it, along with about 95% of our Gameboy games, so I don't have it any more. Darnit, I want to play it again! :(
...Um, Waterseer, don't double post. Use the edit button.
*eagerly* Can we discuss Golden Sun fanon here too? Can we? Can we? Huh?
Sure!... If I knew what fanon was. _________________ Humankind Cannot gain anything without first giving something in return; To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's First Law Of Equivelant Exchange... |

Oh I already beat Dullahan, I was just pointing out that he's a huge pain in the ass. I used a similar strategy when I battled, cept I never did have to pull out my second team. Beat him with my first team. Djinn storm is a pain, and so is Charon. Three hits with one of his stronger attack took out my lv. 75 Shiba T-T Let's see, I had Isaac, Jenna, Shiba and Ivan for my first team, and the rest were in my second. It was through pure darn luck I won. |
