Should you not enjoy the viewings of the possibilities of spam/unmoderated, simply leave the area as there are ample warnings dealt before the link to them.

Same goes for the dipshit little girl who looke dinto the adult forum expecting to see a How-To ... Colour Harry Potter! Leo addition: spoilers everywhere.

You shed no tears for spam nor unmoderated 'cause you suck. You were indifferent to it. Never posting and rarely viewing in comparison to those who called it thier iHome. Which I did. I know many others who found appeal of FAC forums in those areas and although your steel and wired heart won't miss those members and spam's sometimes quarrelsome tendancies, I for sure, will miss FAC. In my opinion, FAC forums are held up by the community atop Spam and Unmod's shoulders. A puffy 'Random' forum won't cut it. Wtf is random?! it has no meat-based substances. It has no ring pull can. You can't hollow out a tube area within, warm it slightly and pretend it's a 15 year old's corpse. You cannot feed on Random 'cause random is non-materialistic, if indeed random exists. This is bullshit and I heavily oppose the removal of these forums because of some user's pictures. Fine, fine, fine.. delete the offending images. But surely you can't let the forum's business suffer for one little scare. Mods and admin will just have to be extra vigilant and check latest posts for images although, if appropriate rules are set, they shouldn't be breached.

Big mistake to allow FAC forums to flatline.

It's really just the nature of those particular forums, I'm not surprised this eventually happened. ANY time you make something 18+, younger people get into it. You're just asking for trouble. Aside from the borderline kiddie porn, putting graphic adult material where younger people can get at it is more or less against the law. Go to any porn site and you'll see a big ass warning "must be 18+ to view this material, 21 in some states" followed by a credit card check. There was porn everywhere in unmod and spam because it wasn't against the rules, view at your own risk.

But it's Denis's ass on the line for it, no one's going to show up at your house, Gray, and arrest you for pasting in shit pictures. Razz

I don't know if Canadian laws are different on the subject, but in America you can't distribute porn to minors.

We did have warnings, though, and there's loopholes. Sites can post 10 second "samples" with warnings. But that's another matter entirely. Laughing

Disabling all images wouldn't help, photobucket works just fine. It's better that Denis removed the sections (at least for now) instead of a rather weak response of "I'll delete the pictures and keep a closer eye on the sections, promise". If they were interested enough to call him, they'd certainly check up on what he did to fix it.

So stop posting porn to these impressionable youth. Razz

And make due with what we have for now. Lots of new sections, go play there. Use IM. Expand your forum horizons and find a site specifically for unmoderated or spam, there's a lot of them. Just don't post NC17 material and try not to change the subject of threads. It's not THAT big of a crisis.

Denis himself wasn't actively distributing pornography. And he can't control what others post.

All that had to be done was delete the offending posts, order you mods to click a mouse a few extra times and enfore the rules, and make punishments for posting nudity more severe.

But this is on some Neo Pets s**t now. Like I said to Carter, better to cut the bullshit and just plain out make the place a kiddy site. That way none of this wondering what can be posted or not bullshit is necessary.

It doesn't matter. On his site, it's his problem.

And it's really only the [i]pictures[/i] that cause the most trouble. Yes, we could just delete the pictures, but at this time the forums are closed. Maybe they'll come back. With all the changes we're working on, watching for boob pictures is not high on the priority list. Give it some time and everything will be settled out, including the fact you all want spam and unmod back.

i can totally agree with you guys. If it's denis's ass on the line i don't want him to get in trouble. So even though i'm like this right now.... . . . .

What the f**k are you people on? The purpose of this site is not pedo pictures or nudity. It's an art site for kids. Denis is not distributing pornography to children. He isn't going to f**king jail for this.

OF COURSE IT'S HIS PROBLEM. IT'S HIS f**king SITE. So he needs a solution. What was the solution? Removing two sections. Now pornography can't possibly be posted.

But I can deal with that, time for more general things to do, also unmoderated, closed!
Things are just falling apart here, all forums now have limited things, and it's all boring, now it's going to happen here. Kids who would have a problem are very stupid to make a threat, of what I saw when I just found out that spam is gone too. Kiddies like that should just leave. Man, I feel heart broken, better find other places that arn't so boring and limited.

Time for my two cents on this, I guess.

Yes, the fact that there is no spam sucks considering that was the section I spent a majority of my FAC time on. But honestly, do any of you think all this bitching and moaning is going to bring it back?

Its gone. We need to move on. If you have a problem then go to another forum or make one and put a link to it in your sig. Maybe even advertise it here if it is okay with Denis or the mods. I know Gray has a site that has a nice spam section. Go there if you miss Spam. Smile

I'm just trying to be optimistic here. After all, this is an art site so I know I'm going to try and contribute more to actual art here and get off my lazy ass and try out some of the community projects. Yes, spam and unmod is gone. But there are still some good sections to post in. And once again, if you do miss Spam that much, Gray has a link to his forum in his sig that has a growing Spam section. I know he probably doesn't care what gets posted in his forum so go there and enjoy yourself.

But seriously, stop the whining now. I don't mean to be mean but it isn't going to bring the sections back. Smile

actually I do, this is just the thing i do while i'm waiting for another camping trip in which i will probably set something else on fire....that doesn't belong to me

but at home, it's all you got to do unless you wanna go outside and pollute your lungs with all the beer, paper, and industrial factories around here

I understand a bit. But if you're really that bored then might I suggest some of the following?

I. Post in other sections. Who knows? You might actually get really into one and maybe have fun.

II. Go to another site for spamming. I'm linking Gray's site in my sig too soon so you can have easy access to it.

III. Go to another site. Smile

Sorry if I'm offending anyone but if you find a place boring then shouldn't the logical solution be to just leave? There are some good sites out there that you can go to depending on what you like. In fact, if you are in need of some entertainment but don't know any sites to go to then PM me and I'll send you links to some great sites I've found. Wink
