JESUS!

are they any good like? really? a mean aren't they kids books? cause i really don't know, i've never read a page, seen a movie or played a game of the harry potter franchise!

I finished it awhile ago, and it sort of kicked my drawing block. But I did think it really depressing, like everything is starting to go down the toilet or something...

Can't wait for the next one.

Actually, no, a younger kid couldn't really understand it. It's alot more complicated than some people think it is. There are many things like messages and other complicated scenerios. I know people get overly obsessed about it, but there are people who like the book just for the thrill of reading something intelligent. If you don't want to hear about harry potter, don't read the threads, simple as that.

There will most definately be a 7th book. Look up Rowlings interviews. Even if Harry doesn't go back to Hogwarts, he still has to Destroy the Horcruxes and Kill Voldemort. Actually, I hear she's thinking about an 8th installment...

JUST got it today (stupid Amazon!) and finished it this evening. It was really good, but I actually wish it was longer. There's not enough to sustain me until the next book comes out.

Anyway, I think the end part of the book was amazing... it was so intellectual and philisophical. Man! Snape, though! I always knew he was evil, but no one belived me. I guess I should be happy that I'm right, but I'm not really. Now it just seems like kind of an obvious choice. But other than that, it was great. I'm so excited to see what's in store.

1) Thought the book was too hyped over. It was basicly a lot of smoothing and qudditch. :/ BORING.

2) Dumbledore died, so friggin' what. You guys knew someone was going to die. People were raving on about who they thought that was going to die. Pssttts It shouldn't be a huge shock.

3) The book as a whole is probably one of the worst ones out of the whole series.

and i read it in like a day and a half. Yawn. :/ (I normally read it within hours of getting the book.)

i guess its because this book has to answer all our questions...i mean, they have to leave all the great fighting to the last book, don't they?Actually I'm a bit disappointed too,the ending was pretty abrupt and i kept looking at the back of the page to see whether i missed a page or something. Sad

from what I remember, there was only one game and since he's the captain of the team, so there's bound to be quiditch in the book. She's trying to tie up all of the loose ends of the series. There's alot still to do in the next book. And now since hogwarts was closed down for the rest of the year, and the book usually ends while either leaving the school or on the train, it's gonna be a little abrupt. She still has alot to do.

I still have a shifty feeling about Snape, like somehow he's gonna have some huge role in the death of Harry or Voldemort, preferrably Voldemort... LoL

I still think Snape is "good"

think about it, Dumbledore "pleaded with him" but he didn't plead for his life. He deliberately asked for Snape when he was poisoned ane weak, and thirdly, Snape killed Dumbledore when there were like, 5 witnesses (death eaters) around him. and fourthly, Dumbledore paralyzed Harry so he wouldn't stop Snape from finishing the job.

I think Dumbledore believed he was nearing his end anyway, so he sacrificed himself to make Snape even closer to Voldemort.

Using the law of "apply the new ideas" I think Dumbledore trusted Snape because Snape made an unbreakable promise with him, that Snape would help finish Voldemort no matter what.

Also, I think Harry himself is a horcrux but, I'm not sure...

anyway, here's a picture I really liked stolen from the image board...

I don't think Harry is a horcrux because it can only occur with a violent and brutal death. Voldemort was going to use Harry for his last one but his plan back fired on him.

Some good points on snape, and I think you may have it right. I think Snape was under orders by Dumbledore but I think that the members of the order might not believe that, or take to letting him go, which could be a problem.

I'm wondering what's gonna happen to Bill, what with that bite and all... I want to know how it's gonna affect him since greyback wasn't transformed and all...
