Frankly, Lasher, i appreciate the fact that you and the other staff members put so much time into this site. I appreciate that i can post my stuff free of charge, and frankly, i don't mind the approval sytem at all. And further more, if certain people (*ahem* Squall Lionheart!) want to be littel bitches about it, I say fsck 'em! 'Cause we really don't need you anyways!

Probably everyone's biggest pet peeve at the moment: under appreciated mods. Too many hate threads targeted toward them. Seems like a lot of members take for granted all the work you guys put in to keeping this site running smoothly.

Yeah, pet peeves...

I hate internet fsck-wads (brilliantly termed by Gabe of Penny Arcade). These people basically take it upon themselves to make things as miserable as possible for the rest of us. Be it spamming, flaming, or generally just being dick-heads, these people have no sense of decency or courtesy. The funny thing is, in real life, these people are usually timid recluses who spend there entire lives sitting in front of their computer screens and munching on cheetos. So, to compensate, they flame, bully, and are basically mean to anyone and everyone over the internet. To this I say: "Get a life!" Stop spending every waking minute on your computer! Or at least change your attitude.

But other than that... i dunno, crappy 2-min drawings? those can get annoying.

ah, I hate those people. They go right along with the people who make up fake identities for whatever reason, either they get a kick out of it or because they think they have to in order to be interesting and well liked. And it's usually kinda sad 'cause they tend to be really funny, interesting people without all the amazing stories and junk they make up. And as soon as they're found out (either in public, or some people just know and keep their mouths shut about it. I know of a couple who are fakes myself, but I'll let 'em play their game since it's not hurting anyone) everyone who believed 'em feels betrayed n' ends up running them off. Sad

I'm new to this whole website so i don't know if my opinion really counts..... But i'll put it anyway....

~Pet peeves~

1) People who get Pissed about people giving them constructive critism (Sorry my spelling really sucks... but thats what i get for being only 14) If you don't want your art critcized you shouldnt put it on an art website, plus how are you going to get much better if no one tells you how to correct your flaws?

2) People who put up crap jobs, I'm not saying everyones art has to be a masterpiece (hell look at mine!) But things that only took you 2 minutes in class shouldn't really be on here.... save room for people who took time and effort into there work

3) really illiterate people..... i'll just leave it at that...

4) People who flat out critcize someone by calling tere pictures ugly.... don't just tell someone there art sucks (even if it does) Help them and try to teach them how to draw but if they broke my number 1 pet peeve then curse there arse out!

Yeah, people who don't look at all the forums before posting. Ugh. I can understand if it's a topic you aren't sure where to put or that could possibly go a couple different places, but if there's a forum further down the list specifically titled as such...oy.

Only thing you have to worry about is breaking the the rules like a jackass. And whatever you do, don't piss off someone who can suspended and/or ban you. Example, GODZILLA *coughs*

I hate two things.

1. I hate when there are a ton of comments on bad art saying how good it is.
No one ever gives constructive critisism and when someone does, they get yelled at.

2. I also hate when people don't scan stuff in right. Like, it's huge and the art is a dot in the middle of the page and you have to scroll all over the place to read it.

Most Photoshop programs allow you to reduce the size of your pictures. I have to reduce mine down to about 30 - 40% of it's original size otherwise it will be huge. If you have a Photoshop program then open your picture from there and then go to edit. There should be an image size option.

Why do people leave comments that dont talk about the artwork at all? I have one drawing of hilary duff (and apparently not alot of people like her ) and 90% of the comments say "I HATE HER!!" then they put "but nice drawing". the last comment i got on it did had nothing to do with the drawing at all what-so-ever! The idiot was rambling on about how he/she hates her and avril lavigne and whats to kill them! what the hell does that have todo with the artwork!
yea i guess not all dumb members can be banned or else there will be only a few members left Razz

Well i would like to start out by saying... I hate Hilary Duff. But I understand where you are coming from. I got pissed off the other day because someone commented on my pic saying... This should be at least PG-13...... umm.. okay thanks for the comment.. And this was someone that i've done a request for... i guess that's the thanks i get... f*ckn idiots

Dude, laugh it off. If I cared every time someone ranted n' raved about my subject matter I'd be pretty frustrated at this point with all the "man, did you see that VMA performance? What a fatass! And what's with those braids?" or "Haha, boy did they suck.". Some people can't help themselves. And really, it's your own fault for drawing them. You know, or should know, the reaction you'll get. I can't draw what I do then be surprised when people throw in their glam hating opinions.

Then again, my subjects have talent unlike *ahem* [i]some[/i] that were recently mentioned. Rolling eyes
