Our scaner doesn't work with our computer very well so we never use it.Thus,what little,and crapy at that,art I have can't be put on Fac.

I haven't posted anything FAC-worthy in such a long time. I think the last time was like May I think. WTF?

And it was in the GnR section so you know its not going to get a crapload of comments anyways.

I'm like either in a slump or getting very rusty. Nothing really seems to inspire me lately. Sad

But that doesn't mean I can't like comment on other people's art. Sometimes its good to leave a comment for even the crappy artwork because its always nice to let someone feel special with that e-mail. Razz

I keep getting a comment here or there on really really crappy old stuff while my new work is looked over. Then again, my old stuff was fanart and my new stuff is original.

Today. I've been getting a lot more than usual lately. More bum kissers hanging around I guess. Too bad most of the comments consist of "OMG!!!!!!! I loves Sailor Moon! Huggles.. look at my art!" or " You are gross... are you gay or a horny guy?"... yeah.

Thats probably most of the reason. Anime fanart no matter how skilled it is is like 85% more likely to get comments than a well done original piece. Same goes for anything in the Real People section. Popular band fanart of the moment will get more comments in a week than a great AC/DC portrait of Angus Young will get in a month.

Its just popularity when it all gets down to it. Some comments are genuinly good and even helpful but most depending on what you drew will be fangirls praising the show or the character rather than the skill of the artist.

Although the one little MCR thing recently got a comment along the lines of "How could you hate MCR?! Ugh, some people just don't know good things..." Poor misguided little thing. Then I saw on her profile that she likes Green Day and decided not to bother. ^_^ Beyond hope.

I really want to be able to order my gallery in reverse. Way too many comments on stuff from 2000/2001. :wacko:

I got comments today, but that's probably because I uploaded a few pictures last night. Comments are few but have been becoming surprisingly frequent. I seem to have been getting a couple every week, which is rather cool. As long as it's not something like 'Come look at my art pleeeeeeze', then I'm happy that someone took the time to say that they liked my art. Although there was that one time that someone gave me a profile comment with the single word 'good'. I wasn't sure how to react to that.

And if I ever feel like I need more people to praise me for my work (^^ Wink

then I just go out and comment on some random peoples' pictures. Not all of them will respond, but some will return the favor.

XD Lindsay. One of those comments looks awfully familiar...
