it was popping up in like in GD

We already know sites can prohibit direct (hot) linking of images, but the pop-up trick is a new one....

Well, that's definitely going to be annoying for a lot of users, considering how posts go... What thread and page was that in? Because I suggest we find the hotlinker and ask them to remove/change the offending image.

It's not that new. It's just an image linked from a member only site, like if you try to link to a private photobucket account, it'll ask for username and password.

Yeah.. about a month or two ago someone tried submitting an image linking from a member only site. Every 4 minutes or so that damn thing would pop up until i eventually came across the image. Grr!

Very annoying.

Find the user who is causing it and an admin can remove the sig or avarar.

actually, we figured it was amy, because all the peopl in teh thread got it but her and she was posted pics (spam thread)
