1) What are blenders? (Not the kitchen untensil, dummy.)
2) What are prismacoloars?
3) Where do you go to start a project in Photoshop Element 3.0? I mean,When you first open it and it say loading plugins and that other junk?
4) Am I the only one who uses Photo-Brush?
Please help me!

1. You mean blending sticks or stumps or whatever the proper name for them is? They're these little rolls of paper that you can use to blend together various media. I've only used them with pencil and charcoal, but I'm sure people use them with pastels too. Makes for smoother transitions between colors and/or areas of light and shadow. Also helps to soften your pencil lines.
2. Prismacolor is a brand of art supplies. There are both colored pencils and markers - I'm not sure if there are any other products with the name. I only use the colored pencils, so that's all I can talk about, but they are high-quality pencils with soft lead and strong pigment. They're very good for blending colors - a lot of people like using them. Rather expensive though.
3. How about File->New? Wait for all the plugins to load and for the workspace to show up first.
4. Maybe? I have no idea. XD

The term "Blender" can also refer to colorless blending pencils, because they're used to blend and mix the existing colors in an area, making them appear smoother (and, in the case of colored pencils, much more vivid). _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

Prismacolor
Pencil Crayons, the cheapest (meaning that it is 10 times more expensive than Crayola) artist-grade out there and also one of the best
Markers, the bright colored alcohol markers that just won't die.
Nupastels, pastel that is about as hard as a brick. but very useful in detailed drawings.
Watercolorpencils, crayons that turns into watercolor as you dab them with water.
Sharpies - Prismacolor's branch brand name. _________________ "Sarah's future makes me sad." - Benk |

Prismacolors are exactly like Crayola, EXCEPT they have a higher wax content (I forgot the technical term for it) and they're much easier to blend using a blending stub (the rolled paper one thats about 30 cents at the local art store), or colorless blenders (prismacolor makes these, they come in pencil form). They're really versitile. The harder you press, the smoother the color comes out _________________ Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you're up to.
