Calling All Double-killers

So I was thining, who here plays Halo 2? And, more specifically, who plays it on Live? If you meet this criteria, then I have the following questions for you to answer all happy like:

1) What is your Live persona? (this is optional if you don't want to give your user name)

2) What be your highest level?

3) What is your favorite weapon and/or combo?

4) What is your favorite vehicle?

5) Are you more of a team player or a lone wolf? What are your preferred tactics?

6) Are you in a clan?

7) Give an account of an awesome "pwnage" moment.

So yeah, just trying to figure out what type of Halo community we have going here. Hell, if weget enough people, who knows? Maybe we could start an FAC clan.

2) 1, I haven't played matchmaking since before they reset all the scores a couple months ago.

3) Favorite weapon: Battle Rifle
Favorite combo: "Green Nasty" - Plasma pistol shot followed by a headshot with BR

4)Banshee or ghost

5) I'm the spastic shooter that just so happens to hit with every shot. When I want someone dead, they are. I usually clear out a way for the rest of the team to clean up the mess and do what we went in that base to do.

6) no, couldn't keep up with the stupid kids near my house that made a new clan after every movie they saw <_<

7) The stupid post got cleared because it did the stupid "This page cannot be found" crap and I don't feel like retyping that so I'll say all that later.....

I guess it wouldbe prudent to answer my own question. ^_^

1) I am not revealing my Live name simply because I don't want anyone messaging me with friend requests. I get this a lot, and it annoys me b/c most of the time it is simply because I'm a high level or because I performed well during a match, and so they want to be associated with me. I only send/accept friend requests for meaningfull purposes, like if me and another player hit it off or if we worked well together or somthing

3) Battle rifle is my weapon of choice. I tall it my "double-killer". Sniper is nice too, but I don't/can't camp. I'm what you'd call a "run-and-gun" sniper.

4) I don't like vehicles, and consider them death traps, but if I have to, I'll grab a ghost, simply because I don't like entrusting my well-being on other people.

5) I'm a lone wolf. My goal is to wrack up more kills than anyone else in the match. This often means I take the support fire roll, clearing the way for others to complete the objectives.

6) I am an overlord of a current clan but plan to leave it if something better comes along due to inactivity.

7) Capture the flag Clan match on Waterworks. I grab the battle rifle and run through the teleport and accross the bridge to the cover position behind the outcropping of rocks near the enemy base. As one of my teammates snipes the unfortunate enemies who happen to be on top of the base, three more speed towards the rear entrance in a worthog. Since our sniper is keeping the team pinned down, all eight of them are hiding in the base, surrounding the flag, making it impossible for the three in the hog to get near it. But many of them have forgotten about the explosives in one corner of the room, and it is these that I draw a bead on through the large open window. Two are killed outright in the following explosion, and two more are easily picked off with several well aimed bursts from my rifle, their sheilds all but depleted from the blast. With half the team gone, and the other four in dissaray, I waste no time in rushing forward, tossing grenades through the open window, following up the explosion with more battle rifle fire. When my three teammates do eneter the base, they have but one lone and very ragged enemy to deal with, earning them a free flag and me a "killamingaro" metal. I then follow up with picking enemies off with my newly aquired sniper as the three of them speed back to base with the flag. At the end of the match, I had wracked up over 30 kills, and our clan had won 3-1.

I think we must be the only two who actually play Halo 2 here. I made a topic a while back and nobody posted in it.

Heh, I got the chance for once to go play again and got 3rd in Rumble Pit (was one of my worst areas. I'm more of a team player if you remember). I was surprised I could even remember the controls. But, alas, I only got one pwn1ng moment on Midship. I assassinated a guy with a shotgun, took it an just ran with it racking up a bunch of kills. Eventually I was triple teamed, there's no way I could have gotten out of it. Oh well....

I just enjoy the fact that I can often beat down guys who are weilding the power sword. Nothing more satisfying that going toe-to-toe with a sworder and knocking him on his ass with the butt of your gun.

Hahahaha GOD yes. That's the funniest thing to see. Ever. Some guy is running around Midship with a sword and takes a swipe at you but misses and just flies away. You run up behind him...STILL in mid-air...BAM! "____ was assassinated"

It's almost as good when someone comes flying at you with a sword and you have a shotgun. It sort of gives them a nice shock when they fly towards you, you turn around, and bang. I love how they just go right through you afterwards.......still flying... :wub:

I played with Layz on Xbox Live before. Ash had/has Halo 2 and all that and so before she got all pregg0rz and could already barely stand it before barfing, she would play around for a while. Layz has a pretty voice too. :wub:

SOMEBODY has GOT to play Halo2 on here. Somewhere.

Oh yea, and Will...do you have Unreal Championship 2?? That's another great game. It's a lot more complex of controls, mucho love to it. :wub:

Well, WE where trying to kill each other with a berrel. We where playing ball with it. Lol, And i got fed up, And When i had it, He waited, And I aimed for the ciling, and Then, lunch. It Bounced off onto 'Larry6666'

I do have halo 2. And I do play online. But very rarely on that game. I like have lan parties a whole lot more with that game. And when I play online I play exclusively with buddies. I just think there's the biggest community off assholes on that game. And I just don't like dealing with them. I'm a lone wolf type of fighter. My rank was like 10 before the reset the rankings. But yeah I just don't play enough. Sorry.

I wish I enjoyed that game more. I like co-op games more too. Normally I'm better than my friends at games, and it gets boring when you're mopping the floor with them. That's a general statement though. I'm not that good at Halo 2. I've probly only logged 30-40 hours on it since I got it.

On top of just not being that good at it, I wouldn't be good in the clan either, cause I'm only on live two to three days a week for a total of 5-6 hours.

But my gamer tag is ZAKU MAN. And I've got an extensive library of live games. And I play different ones every night I play. Sorry if I'm wasting space here. Just felt like chimeing in.

That would be awesome to have an FAC clan, especially since I need a clan anyway. I played one game today, but I have no motivation to go out and play with no clan to be in. I, personally did well....but my team was complete crap and it was total disorder. It's like we were all going independently towards the goal to plant the bomb. I just decided to go around killing people and just helping anyone near the bomb, but it only worked twice. We lost, but that's okay. I've played two matchmaking games since April, so I just need to play for a week like I used to and I'll be back at my peak.
Will would be the leader of the clan. He only justly deserves the position considering it was his idea to gather all Halo2 playing FACers.

Okay, so, nobody wants to post? I'll share what I remember from the past 12 or 13 hours of my life.

one pwn4g3 moment today was:
Capture the Flag on Midship. We had to get our flag back to the base in order to score, and the enemy with our flag was just running around the middle waiting for someone to return their flag. (he was on the big see-saw thing) So, I chucked a well-placed plasma grenade from our base, jumping to get the motion and speed velocity needed to get up there. Next thing I see: "You stuck ___" or something like that. So then it was easy to score the point. I thought it was an amazing stick that many others could not be able to get, considering you had to manipulate the plasma grenade to fall on him since only the flag was visible from my viewpoint. It was awesome.

OH! God yes another pwn4g3 moment:
I believe it was yesterday. On Lockout it was Team Slayer. Early in the game I decided to see if a little trap of mine would actually work in gameplay. Over near the sniper tower I dropped one of the explosive pod things onto the bridge underneath. Later on in the game there were three guys going down this hallway towards me, tucked somewhat safely in the sniper tower bottom half. Another one of my well placed plasma grenades and I peek enough to see a massive explosion and both Double Kill AND Triple Kill light up on my screen.
Pwn3d. btw, I got 21 kills for our team of 4 that game.

So yea, I've been playing a lot these past 2 days and in Team Slayer(which I played the most so far) I'm a level 20, In Team Skirmish I'm a level 13 or 14. Rumble Pit I'm a level 7 I guess. I don't remember the rest of these. Nor do I care. All anyone I know plays Team Slayer.

I play Live, but not much anymore. I got bored. But I probably will soon, once my uncle's get back online.

3) The battle rifle. Handy whenever you need it. Then it'll be a sniper.

5) I guess you can say I'm a lone wolf. On team battle's I like to stay and protect the base. Somebody has to do it. I don't like holding the flag or bomb. I'll get it, but then give it to someone else. If my teammates aren't doing the job, then I'll go ahead and do it.

6) Yeah

7) It was Neutral bomb on Beaver Creek. My team was off somewhere doing whatever while the bomb was just sitting in the middle. So I pick up the bomb and go into the enemy's base's front door. As I turn the corner to plant site, one of the enemy's spwaned right in front of me, with his back towards me. So, I hit him in the back with the bomb. I started to plant the bomb when anothe guy cam in, and started shooting me. He was right up on me and I started hitting him with the bomb. Hit him twice and he died and I planted the bomb.

I have so many sniper stories, don't feel like telling them. =\

I hate it when everybody starts quiting. One guy quits, and before you know it, half the team is gone. And those noob kids who can't play worth a crap who talk junk and piss you off. I think I remember why I stopped playing. ><
