Okay so if you could have a theme song that followed you around.. like when you entered a room... what would it be??? I totally ripped this off of a topic on DA :)
I choose Christina Aguilara - Dirty _________________ |

I think there was a really old topic like this, pick 3 or something like that, but people kept adding more and more, so let's say PICK ONE AND ONLY ONE for this thread. Make it a real challenge instead of listing all your favorite songs.
Hmmm...
Gonna have to go with "Rocket Queen" by Guns n' Roses.
If I say I don't need anyone
I can say these things to you 'cause
I can turn on anyone
Just like I turned on you
I've got a tongue like a razor
Sweet switch blade knife
And I can do you favors
But then you'll do whatever I like
Here I am, and you're a rocket queen
I might be a little young
But honey, I ain't naive

Nice I'm just gonna stick to the Dirty song.... lyric time??? why yes it is.
Wanna get rowdy
Gonna get a little unruly
Get it fired up in a hurry
Wanna get dirrty
It's about time that I came to start the party
Sweat dripping over my body
Dancing getting just a little naughty
Wanna get dirrty
It's about time for my arrival

Ooh, and make it the live version with the short little spoken, pseudo-rap in the middle (technically a separate song that'll be on Chinese Democracy...in another lifetime)
Im like a little bitty kid with a real big mouth
And youre gonna have to catch me if you wanna wash it out
Cuz Ill be standin on the corner... callin you names
With my juvenile skills... and juvenile games
Cuz Im a fast motherfucker
let me tell you bout it sucker
If you fuck with me... Ill fuck your mother
Your sister too... and your best girlfriend
Then Ill line em up and put em end to end
And then Ill stick it in...Ill pull it out
Ill grab your face and then Ill cum in your mouth.
I said it tastes good... dont it
It tastes good, HUH
And you know it!
Now that's poetry right there. It's so very meeee! _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

Mm, but I think Rocket Queen would be a cooler entrance song. Just 'cause it's sexier. Much love for Fallen Angel, always, but I've yet to step off the bus, out into the city streets as a small town girl with my whole life packed in the suitcase at my feet. Whereas I can do you favors, but then you will do whatever I like...and "I may be a little young but honey I ain't naive" has always been one of my favorite lines of all time.
I'll be sad when I'm no longer a little young and can't use it anymore. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

yea this was a topic awhile ago. but it was hard to pick just one! ah well i have a few but here's a good one:
"bittersweet symphony" by the verve
'Cause it's a bittersweet symphony this life
Try to make ends meet , you're a slave to the money, then you die.
I'll take you down the only road I've ever been down
You know the one that takes you to the places where all the veins meet , yeah
No change, I can't change, I can't change, I can't change
but I'm here in my mold , I am here in my mold
But I'm a million different people from one day to the next
I can't change my mold, no, no, no, no, no, no
Well I never pray,
But tonight I'm on my knees, yeah
I need to hear some sounds that recognise the pain in me, yeah
I let the melody shine, let it cleanse my mind , I feel free now
But the airwaves are clean and there's nobody singing to me now
...yes. _________________ i fought the war, but the war won |
You thief! Stealin' theme songs...
Me a thief...? never... Heh I love the Indiana Jones theme tho. I hum or whistle it all the time. It really annoys my friends which is fun. Heh, when I was like seven Indie was my hero and I wanted to be him. ^^ _________________

i already made this topic, a long time ago...but it got sad, lol, like fallen said.
My new theme song would be:
When All Is Said And Done
by Trapt
You have a chance to really shine now
Well patience never was, one of your true virtues
And stop trying to control everything, and f**k what they say, what do you have to prove?
So why am I waiting, this time that I'm wasting, if that's what you mean
So why am I waiting, yeah, this time that I'm wasting, if that's what you mean
How will this be, when all is said and done, will I know where I'm from,
remember me
Where will I be, I guess I'm on the run, and time is catching up behind me,
behind me yeah, behind me yeah, behind me
I'm scared to be the only one who sees
The hourglass run dry, 'cause too much time went by
And why do I try to prove that I will be, ready for everything thrown at me
So why am I waiting, this time that I'm wasting, if that's what you mean
So why am I waiting, yeah, this time that I'm wasting, if that's what you mean
How will this be, when all is said and done, will I know where I'm from,
remember me
Where will I be, I guess I'm on the run, and time is catching up behind me, yeah
How will this be, when all is said and done, will I know where I'm from,
remember me, yeah
Where will I be, I guess I'm on the run, and time is catching up behind me
These thoughts trickle down, imaginary lines cut through the ground
These thoughts trickle down, imaginary lines cut through the ground
So why am I waiting, this time that I'm wasting, if that's what you mean
So why am I waiting, yeah, this time that I'm wasting, if that's what you mean
How will this be, when all is said and done, will I know where I'm from,
remember me

If I could have my own theme song, probably "Wake Up" by Rage Against the Machine, the song that is used at the end of The Matrix. Rage is my all-time favorite band, but I wouldn't mind using Incubus' "Circles" or "Nice to Know You" either........ _________________ Not all who wander are lost.
