Is Powtaz Actually Funny

I'm opening the debate fallen. There's enough polls in General Discussion already so this is just an old fashioned debate.

For those of you who don't know because you're new, Powtaz has a repuation of being The King of Spam. Its kind of like not that true though because he only got that rep for spamming in General so much and not getting suspended when he probably should've.

Some say he's funny. Others say he's annoying. What do you think? If you have to, go to the beginning of General and read some of the really, really old threads he posted in. And please give like detailed reasons. No yes or no answers. We need information to back it up. Smile

No. Last I checked, yammering on like a retarded 12-yeear-old trying to take part in a big boy conversation was not "funny". He's proven before that he's capable of forming a real sentence (as evidenced in his signature for awhile Rolling eyes

), so his brain damaged monkey act is not cute nor funny. It's irritating.

And he [i]would[/i] have been suspended long ago, but his "I'm so fuckin' stupid I'm cute" act seemed to charm everyone else on staff.

Sometimes we do need that random shout out though. I mean, when there's like some kind of flame war going on or people are getting all hot and bothered over something, he seems to know what to say to get people to forget what pissed them off for like a few seconds and laugh. I mean, some people do like that brain damaged monkey act. Razz

I kind of like it in moderation. Too much is borderline annoying. But I think Powtaz like balances it out with like something that is genuinely funny.

I mean, if he wasn't like that funny, would Will even bother to quote him in his sig?

Thats some funny s**t right there. And he said that like after the Terri Schiavo incident so the timing of that was even better. Smile

But maybe he just doesn't fit into your type of humor fallen.

Denis seems to like it and so does most of FAC. I guess he just found a way to be around here and decided to stick with it. I'm glad that he's so stupid that he's cute. Its a part of his charm.

'Cause he was (and still is, should he come back) annoying and spammed an excessive amount with no suspensions. Sure, I could have done it myself, but he was friends with everyone else, and if no one else wants to see him gone, I ain't getting in the way of that.

Which I find very funny, considering almost every movie I like is a comedy, I adore live stand up, and I'm always laughing in person.

I do, however, hate stupid comedy. Excessive random garbage. I also hate silly people and don't like being around them. Smart comedy (Eddie Izzard :wub: ) or ball busting comedy roxxorz.

Fuck, ChrisFox knew me from the Whose Line boards at WB way before FAC. And I was on a lot of others at the time before they all fell apart. I just don't go for the "look at my moose!" 'comedy'.

He made me laugh, like once or twice. But the fact that he puts that stuff in his sig makes his act seem intentional. So you know the guy has some form of intellect. So that means he is acting dumb, and some people think it's cute. But he really isn't that way, it's manipulation. I can't get myself to like the guy much, because it's so hard to try to talk to him when he's trying to be cute. Especially when you don't think he is.

Brianhjh, all he has ever done was jump in the middle of other peoples conversations and say things to make you laugh, little spammy half sentences that most of the time makes no sense. He tells all the little inuyasha girls that he loves them so they run all over the place cheering his name. He's not all that smart of a person, so you never really missed much. All you missed was just someone trying to be funny.

i think powtaz sucks, if i ever saw him in person, i'd probably kick him in the face. he thinks he is sooooo funny, because people laugh with his stupid and clever jokes. Just because he is in college and always knows what to say, and when to say it, doesn't make him that smart. i'm gonna put rat poisin in his soup Grr!
