And why is it you believe that Canadians know more about hockey than amercians? I respect most American hockey fans, more so than Canadian hockey fans. Living in Canada, hockey is thrown at you from all over. It's almost the "cool" thing to like hockey. Therefore you get tons of ignorant bandwagon fans, cheering for a team in a sport they know nothing about. Head to GM place in Vancouver and you'll see what I mean.

Lol thats just like Powtaz.

It just makes common sense that since its our national sport there would be a lot more knowledgeable people here. I'm sure there lots of people that know hockey in the states as well but you can't really compare that to here. Try going to north carolina and talking to some of the locals there. The majority have never seen a hockey game! When the canes where playing in the conference finals many people thought if they won the next game they'd win the cup! I've seen the popularity polls for hockey and its not the most popular sport in the states by a long shot unfortunately. That's why the league isn't doing as well as sports like football and baseball. Most networks aren't renewing their contracts to cover the game for more than only a few season games and playoffs. I don't know about the ppl in vancouver, but in Montreal most people KNOW hockey. I am rooting for the Canucks to win the cup though as they seem like the only Canadian team capable of doing it this year.

Yah, fallen, but you see, i dont respect her that much anymore, and as far as not putting her name on the list, that was because i didnt want her to think i still liked her, cause i don't want to be with her again.

I think Canadians know a lot about hockey. When someone says "Ice Hockey" I think of a big rink with a red leaf in the middle. Like the one in the Canadian flag. I'm sorry if I spelled Canadian wrong. I can NOT spell!!

Perhaps I should have also mentioned there was no good way out of that situation, and your ex is a manipulative whore for doing that. She wanted to see her name to either a. confirm you didn't break up because she wasn't desirable or b. she still has the hots for you. But if you don't respect her anymore, why care that she's pissed?

I have to say I am just a bit bitter, being born and raised in Vancouver all I see are ignorant hockey "fans". I will vomit profusely if the Canucks ever win the cup. Vancouver fans do not deserve that. They deserve the team they had five years ago. And as for you saying that you are cheering for them because they are most likely the Canadian team to win, that is called being a bandwagon fan. People like you make me sick.

yah fallen, i only cared because she was a good friend, but now its all upside down. There was no right way out of that situation, i didnt know if i was supposed to put her name, or if i was supposed to not put her name, so i just put the truth, and she got pissed. it was an odd moment.

No its called having national pride! Bandwagon fans are dudes that dont know anything about the game they just tag along cuz they want to be cool. Many people like this root for the best teams in the league like Detroit and New Jersey. I follow all the Canadian teams and I have for many years, maybe a little less for Toronto cuz we in Montreal have a "certain" rivalry with Toronto. I was major pissed when in 94 Vancouver lost to the Rangers in game seven for the cup. The canucks are one of the best teams in the league, and I'm proud to be a fan! Obviously I'd love seeing the habs take them down if they but that just wont happen.......

Besides, i was talking his ex. If you want me to go into details, then i can. I don't like the girl who are always on a diet because they think they're fat when they're a size 6, they have to wear make up everyday, before they even step out hte door to feel pretty, they have to fit in with everyone and feel accepted by the world, they can't be different or they're selves in fear of being rejected by someone. Girls who are bitching, complaing, time consuming and causing drama over the most stupid things. I am not saying every girl or woman is like this, i am not saying if a girl or woman is on a diet or likes ot wear makeup that she is nessecarily like this. I'm saying woman in general that are likethis that i have met are usually not worth the drama and are big babies.

i'm not singling out anyone on the boards. So please don't start anything with me, i've had a bad month so far and it doesn't look to straighten out anytime soon, and i'm tired of people taking things personally. get over it. and get on with your life. i'm not impressed.
