Jak And Daxter Vs Ratchet And Clank

okay well you guys probably know my anwer, Jak and daxter, of course i really don't know who they would win...but...ahhh...they just would! ^^; Well i've never really played the R&C games befor but I've read about them and stuff

so if you took part in the poll please post who do you think would win (if you want to) and why (you don't have to do that either if you don't want to)

i hope this poll wasn't already made but i looked everywhere and couldn't find it so hopefully this is new to you ppls.

My vote would go for Ratchet & Clank. Both sides are from similar games, so let's do a comparison:

Hit points:[list]R&C1 vs. Jak1
- Ratchet started out with 4 HP, upgradable to 8.
- Jak had only 3 HP (+1 if he also had 50 Green Eco). Not upgradable.
- Clank was playable. Daxter was not.
Winner: Ratchet & Clank

R&C2 vs. Jak2
- Jak always had 8 HP, but as he took 2 HP damage from most hits, it was really like 4 HP. 4th hit was usually killer.
- Daxter (in the rare moment he was playable) had same HP, but bottomless pits were a bigger threat.
- Ratchet started out with 8 HP which, throughout the course of the game, was upgradable to 80 (!) . He also benefitted from increased armor strengths as the game progressed.
- Clank had only 4 HP.
Winner: Ratchet & Clank

R&C3 vs. Jak3
(haven't played either, can't judge)[/list:u]Melee Attacks/Abilities[list]Jak - Dash punch, spin attack, and ground slam.
Ratchet - 3-hit combo, ground slam, medium-range boomerang attack.
Winner: Ratchet has ranged ability, but Jak has superior agility. Tie.[/list:u]Aerial Abilities:[list]Jak - High-jump, rolling jump, pole spin/jump, and double-jump. Spin attack is worth a triple jump.
Ratchet - Double-jump and glider pack. Wall jump from select surfaces. R&C2 added time-limited flying (Levitator pack) to the mix.
Winner: Tie. Ratchet gets the more airtime, but Jak still has faster agility.[/list:u]Ranged Attacks/Abilities[list]Jak 1 - Yellow Eco grants time-limited fireball throwing.
Jak 2 - Short-range shotgun, long-range blaster and vulcan, and Peacemaker.
Ratchet: Huge assortment of weapons encompassing grenades, machineguns, flamethrowers, stars, and more. Plus aforementioned wrench-throwing attack.
Winner: Ratchet sheepinates the Jak.[/list:u]Allies/Vehicles:[list]Jak 1 - Zoomer hovercraft and Flut-Flut. Flut flut had superb jumping abilities. Both could throw Yellow Eco fireballs.
Jak 2 - Varied assortment of vehicles. Daxter could fire the guns while Jak drives. Hoverboard acquired later in game, usable anywhere/everywhere (faster than on foot).
Jak 3 - (haven't played it) - Various vehicles such as dune buggy.
Ratchet: Spaceship with lasers and missiles. [i]Minigames[/i] involving hoverboards (R&C1) and hovercraft (R&C2).
Winner: Tie.[/list:u]

the dark/light eco stuff looked pretty dangerous to me. so i'd say a few attacks of that nature would translate to at least ten hits apeice, so i'll say Jak and Dax.

Jack and Daxter. They could get an advantage when using dark/light eco. When he's dark jak, he hits everything at great speed and the lightings surrounding him get the ennemies that can't be reached(like over him) or that are to far for a hit(like a punch).

Jak and Daxter, they have light eco for flight, defence and stopping time, Dark eco for attacking, the nova gun which is like a mini nuke, a hoverboard you can use anywere, and better bad guyes (metal heads/hora quan, crimson guards, lurkers, and the Dark makers)

honestly... i like em both but i just hafta say i like Jak games more cuz i like the characters and the story better (1st one rewally had no point but twaz fun with flutflut)

I voted fot Ratchet and Clank. I just thought that, that game was easier to play. I tried to play Jak once....I didn't like it. It was a very pretty looking game, but I didn't pick it up very well.
