I heard it was the best comic book movie ever. And I agree. I'm a bigger fan of X men, and I think Spiderman 2 was the best up untill this movie came out. I think it is the so far, and not just out of the recent comic book movies, it's better than the very first Batman and Superman too. I am a dedicated Superman fan, and I want this new Superman movie coming out next year to be better. But right now it's all about Batman Begins, baby! _________________ "edit : i luv james" - Layzcarter |

Saw the movie last week and it really met my expectations. I thought the beginning was done in a clever way and kept the story interesting. It was heavy on flashbacks so the movie never really got confusing. The villians were great too. Scarecrow was a whimp with a mask but it was still really awesome how the drug made him seem a lot scarier than a Defense Attorny with a potato sack on his head.
Do you think there will be a sequal? _________________ Vaccum cleaners may look fun, but are deadly sex toys. as are certain vegetables like, terri schiavo -Powtaz |

saw it a month ago.. and i loved it... like sixx it copletely met my expectations :)
the story was great.. the special effects were done good too... loved the whole gas/drug thing.... like how batman looked when people saw him when they were drugged <3
i also like them doing the whole joker thing at the end... letting us know there will be a sequal or so i hope
but that would be a loophole though.. cause the joker became the joker cause of batman... so it's weird that he's allready there in this batman :\
but i'm not complaining ^_^ |

The introuction to his career as Batman took too long. Cool storyline and CGI, though. I wish the DC folks would make more movies of their heroes like Wonder Woman or The Flash...or even a Justice League movie. _________________ --Small minds talk about people, average minds talk about events, great minds talk about ideas. the movie was basicly about how batman became batman. how he got his gadgets, why the bat, were was he trained. it was like the story starter, only it was filmed last. |

I was disappointed on two accounts.
First: not nearly enough of the Scarecrow. He is my favorite Batman villain, and he took on the roll of a side character in this movie. On the plus side, the way they did him was feakin' awesome and I applaud them, I just wanted to see more.
Second: The fight scenes were dodgy, simply because half the time you couldn't see what was going on. The camera angle would blur, it would be too dark, ect.
Other than that this movie rocked my socks. I loved how they played up the "ninja aspect" of batman, and his first appearance in costume at the drug bust scene was pure adrenaline fueled genius. And they went back to the original, non-nipply bat suite!
But guys, come on, think. There isn't going to be a sequal. They were tying this movie (prequal) into the first Batman movie, which starred the joker as the villain.
Also, Spiderman 2 is still the best comic book movie ever, that is until Spiderman 3 comes along. I remain loyal to the web-head. ^_^ _________________

I have to agree with Will on that. It would have been nice if there was some more scenes with Scarecrow. I was expecting him to be the main villian of the story but he was more of a side character. I found it just so intriging that this guy was just a DA attorney with a bag on his head but when people are messed up with the drugs, he becomes something much more intimidating. It was awesome.
The ending was done well too. Like how they introduced the Joker. I'm not really bothered that it was out of place with the original storyline of the Joker because it was done in a way that fit in with the movie. "He's into theatrics just like you." And then the Gorman shows Batman the Joker card. Pure genius. _________________ Vaccum cleaners may look fun, but are deadly sex toys. as are certain vegetables like, terri schiavo -Powtaz |

Spiderman 2 was good, the best up until this one. But it could have been better. It seemed to me that they just couldn't figure out a great way to kill Doc Oc. The dude didn't have to die that cheesy.
Plus, Superman would pwn spiderman all day long _________________ "edit : i luv james" - Layzcarter |

Do you mean the Superman movies? Because I could never get into those. I don't know why but I lose interest when watching a Superman movie. But I heard there's supposed to be a new Superman movie coming out soon. I wonder if that one will be good?
Superhero movies are great most of the time. The only movies with superheros that bombed were The Hulk and possibly Fantastic Four.

Hahaha. Yeah, I can't wait for those to come out either. X-men 3 is going to pwn with Jean Gray n' all. Totally awesome. _________________ Vaccum cleaners may look fun, but are deadly sex toys. as are certain vegetables like, terri schiavo -Powtaz |

Yeah, Jean Grey as the Phoenix that would rock. But since there will be a new director (Brian Singer, who directed X Men 1 & 2 has left to direct the new Superman movie) Phoenix may not appear in X Men 3 :(
I didnt mean the superman movies, sixxx. Those are old and not too many people would go for downgraded FX. I meant the characters. Superman kicks anyones ass. Cept maybe Wolverine cuz Wolverine is teh best at what he does; kicking ass.
The new Superman movie is coming out next year, and stars a man named Brandon Routh as Superman/Clark Kent. Keven Spacey (K-Pac, The Usual Suspects) will be Lex Luthor. Some say Routh looks like a young Christopher Reeve, maybe a little... _________________ "edit : i luv james" - Layzcarter |
