Once upon a time, there was a little girl named "friend" on a big, big forum. When she tried to spread her wings, she managed to mouth off to a moderator, which was probably poor judgement on her account. One day, she tried to make up with all the people she'd pissed off, and in doing so, managed to keep on doing the things that were pissing people off in the first place.

In trying to make up with people, she created a thread in the General Discussion board, apologizing to everyone, and, in her thread, she attempted to make friends by asking anyone who bothered to comment in her thread. The name of the thread was even "Wanna Be Friends"!

Then a moderator named Layzcarter (incidently, the mod that "friend" had mouthed off to previously) found the thread, replied with a rather quick "No." and proceeded to close the thread because it was just that spammy.
