I personally, Think MOST Rap out there is freakin' man whores rapping about sex and money. WHO WANTS TO HEAR THAT CRAP?? Now, to those who Like ALL Rap, Thats fine with me, But i hate the nonsense Rap, also known as C-Rap.

I like the kinds of rappers out there who rap about thing that matter, like poverty, or accepting people of all colours and cultures.(I guess they could be called 'Brotherhood Rappers') Thats my opinion, whatever yours is, doesn't matter. Its, your opinion, not mine. ^_^

Yeah I hate rap. Because I am a rocker and I love rock but I just get sick of hearing rap everywhere I go. Today I was walking through a mini mall parking lot and a dude was sitting in his car with the windows all the way down, volume turned all the way up, with the bass all the way up and I could here all the way through the store and it just bugged the heck out of me. Don't you hate it when someone is driving with the radio like that and you can feel the car before you can even see it.

Wow. One of the mods are gonna get on your ass. Can't remember which one likes rap, but I'm pretty sure one of them does.

I don't particularly enjoy it myself, but I don't see anything wrong with it. It's just another genre of music.

I know rap sux but dude dont post with a title like that in the music forum although you may hate rap others (Probably mental) enjoy and listen to it frequently so dont stir up a whole bunch of brothers in here They'll pop a cap in your punk arse ^_^

Rap is just retards attempting poetry. All about f**king hos, killing people, stealing or whatnot, stuff that I'd like to eat my own ass listening to.
The whole image sucks. But the whole thing is a phase, I know that for sure, it isn't good enough to stay on this planet in my opinion.
All these idiotic gijolos wearing thier pants of their asses, and they wear long t-shirts just to hid it! They have special needs. :)

personally i don't like rap its not to my taste but i still have appriciation for the artists because they have talent to do what they do. Its like drawing just because you don't like something someone has drawn doesn;t mean its not good or it didn't take talent. thats all i have to say.

You dislike a certain genre of music. Fine. That does not mean it sucks. It doesn't mean the artists have no talent. It just means it isn't to your liking. No need to get all violently wierd about it. Stop stressing about the small things, it makes ya break out.

I just love how people automatically disregard the credibility of a music genre just because they don't like it. Rolling eyes

While I do not prefer rap music, I do respect and admire the rap artists out there. Have any of you actually tried to rap? It is hard and takes a good amount of talent to pull off. I mean, just trying to rap from a song is hard enough. Have any of you ever tried free style? It takes talent, it takes a fast tonuge and a quick mind. And it certainly not "retards attempting poetry." Try looking into the lyrics sometime.

And I do admire Eminem as well. At least he's stating his opinion in a smart and intellectual way. How dare you say that his song dedicated to his daughter and neice is nothing but "his retarded attempt at poetry." That song came from his heart and for you all to call him and his music retarded is disrespectful and ingnorant.

There is a karaoke night on YIM for anyone who is interested. I dare all of you to come tonight and just try and rap. I dare you to rap a song perfectly. Hell, if you're good I may ask you to free style with me. Maybe after you actually try what you're dissin' then you'll have a little more respect for this music genre.

I have to disagree with you there. Eminem is barely a rap artist. You might as well just throw him in the mix with Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson. Yeah he has talent, but does he use it? And the guy is an idiot. Watch any interview, or read any interview with him and you'll be left rolling your eyes. Anyone who has listened to 'Encore' and liked it has the intelligence of a 2 year old. If I wanted to hear puke noises and rhymes about bum bums I would become a lunchtime supervisor at an elementary school.

I have used 12 packs of ice on my head so far, it's working.

Yeah, I did get a little off track about my hatered for rap. It sucks in my world but not to everybody. First amendment was freedom of self expression. (forgive my spelling)
But life goes on.

I should've stated myself a little more clearer. While I do admire Eminem, that doesn't mean I like all of his songs. When he raps like he does in "Mosh" or "Mockingbird" or even back to "The Way I Am" I think he sounds pretty good. He does know how to work the system once in awhile and come out ahead.

But if all he is known for are those crappy songs like "Just Lose It" and "Ass Like That" then you know, you all aren't going to listen to me. I like his more serious stuff and thats about it.

But the point I was trying to make was that all you haters don't even know what you're saying. You say rap is crap and takes no talent whatsoever but have you ever tried to rap? I bet you haven't and thats why you have no respect for the genre.

I used to be like you guys too and hate rap but thanks to a voice chat with Tom and some rap lyrics, I realized that rap is not as easy as you think. I wasn't even close to sounding decent and Tom didn't fare so well either. It takes a fast tongue and clever mind to do what they do. They have that talent and thank God that they've found that talent and are using it.

There will be another karaoke night. If anyone actually has any balls, I suggest you come and try to rap with me. I'll be practicing and waiting for any of you to prove me wrong.
