Is It Just Me, Or...

Is it just me, or is this site really slow? I like it and all, but if you submit a post, fanfic, etc., it takes FOREVER to load. It's ridiculous and it really makes the site less enjoyable. Grr!

In fact, to be honest, this is one of the slowest fanart/fanfic/message board sites I've ever been on! I really think this site needs to be faster. A LOT faster. <_<

By my side, fanart central is like the others. I don't know for you what the problem is but I got no problem and even though it takes time to load, I continue posting and it doesn't bothers me. It's difficult to take care of a site, and I don't think that the site could be so much faster. You should maybe just accept it. or somebody else could help you...

I guess I'm just used to mediaminer.org and gamefaqs.com being much faster than this place. <_<

Also, sometimes a page takes over five minutes to load, or doesn't even load at all! That's why I think this site needs to be faster.

For one thing FAC is growing so fast that the servers are really straining with the load. I'm working on this to try to make it better able to handel the load.

The other problem is there are some network problems where FAC is located. I would like to move to another hosting facility because of it but I can't find another one that is cost effective. Next week (was supposed to be yesterday Grr!

) FAC will be moving to a new server which may help with the problems.

I had a feeling it had to do with this site growing very fast, and as a result, slowing down the servers.

I can't wait until there's a new server. The site will be even better when it's faster (and it's already good right now.) Very Happy
