I think maybe someone who just thought of something to do for me like out of nowhere. But maybe someone did something more special, I must think more.

That would imply some level of romance to begin with. Sad Licking my pens and demanding to keep them ain't exactly a dozen roses (although horribly funny at the time).

Um...yeah, can't think of anything. Hm. Well there was that song a guy was writing about me (as a joke) called "The Slut". I think there's a funny thread about it still on Lasher's forum. It was the fault of him looking over my shoulder while I was doing something on FAC. Grr! Back when Will (our Will) still liked me. :(

Yeah, I haven't been big on romance. The song was pretty cool, though. He looked good writing it. Uneasy

I haven't had anything really romantic... This guy I went on a date with took me to the movies, though and he was a real gentleman Smile He walked up to my door and opened doors for me, paid for my ticket. Everything. The theater was empty, so we mostly talked. He put his arm around my shoulder and held me because I was cold and at the end, he kissed me on the cheek Smile That's the most romantic it's ever gotten for me.

[quote="fallenangel (fallen)"] Um...yeah, can't think of anything.  Hm.  Well there was that song a guy was writing about me (as a joke) called "The Slut".  I think there's a funny thread about it still on Lasher's forum.  It was the fault of him looking over my shoulder while I was doing something on FAC.  Grr!  Back when Will (our Will) still liked me. Uneasy

I still like you Fallen. Oh nos! I have upset our dear fallen. Sad

Most romantic thing? For my birthday my girlfriend gave me a six-foot blowup palm tree pool toy. Yeah, I know it sounds stupid, but it brought back a really fun memory from a long time ago that I had forgotten and I didn't know she had remembered either. It had involved us and two of my friends trying to steal a blow up palm tree from one of the cafeterias at my college during the Hawaiian themed dinner. I was dead set on getting it and we had actually worked out a complex plan to get it, but we failed to steal it, got kicked out, and went home empty handed. And then, bam, almost 5 months later, she surprises me with a palm tree for my birthday.

God dammit, this is the dumbest thing ever, but it meant a lot to me that she had remembered the whole incident, and we had a good laugh about it all over again. Smile

To me, romance is in the little things, those things you do for you significant other that had no real intention of being romantic. Those are the most romantic things of all. Cool

Like Will said .. it's the small things. After being with the same person for almost 7 years there have been so many... I'll go back to when we were first together. Christmas 1998 he was supposed to come over for a few hours. He was late so i figured he wasn't going to show until he starting hucking rocks at my window... pebbles.. whatever. I open up the window and it was the perfect scene. It was snowing out, and he was standing below my window like holding something for me. At that time he didn't have a car so he had to bus from his place to mine. Turns out his bus had broken down like an hour and a half walk away, so he walked through the cold and snow to get to me.........or so he says Smile I forget all of what he got me ... I know there was probably chocolate and all that.... but He got me a bouncing tigger Smile Which still works today, with the same batteries and everything. It's because when me and him met we were looking at zellers toys.......and i said i liked the bouncing tigger or something. Pretty much the first thing we ever talked about... toys.

Then there was last Christmas in New York....... And some of ya know what resulted from that.

Carter and Will's stories are so sweet. Smile And they are right, its the little things that really mean a lot.

I've only had one boyfriend and he was pretty sweet to me. I remember one day mentioning that I liked this Finger Eleven song and the next day he came in with a CD he burned with almost all the Finger Eleven songs you can think of. He was like really affectionate about showing me it. He sat me down on a window sill, put the headphones on me and then he played the songs at a low volume and then turned it higher and higher asking me when to stop. We listened to the songs for a few minutes and I was asking him all these questions about the band and he would answer and laugh.

He did like other nice things too. Like when I told him that I was failing algebra, he ended up giving up the time he normally spends with his friends at lunch, to tutor me in algebra and he was very sweet and patient about it. I ended up passing algebra because of him. Smile

A friend of his also did something really sweet for me..I mean I don't know if this counts as being romantic but I really do treasure what he said to my boyfriend when he found out he was going out with me. He ended up saying, "Don't you dare break her. She's a sweet and innocent girl and there's not many of those around. I swear, if you break her, I'll never forgive you." Just realizing that someone was so protective over me like that really touched me.

So its really a damn shame the relationship only lasted a week. Smile

Nothing romantic ever happened to me 'cause I'v always been single.
But right now at the moment, a guy kicking me in the shin is all dandy and romantic.

I'm serious, use that Ultra Clearasil. It'll work I swear. I'm not joking I'm trying to get you to stop being all pimply. Then you'll stand a chance and get a boyfriend someday. Pimples are gross. . . . .
Anyway, romantic thing...romantic thing.....
Mmmkay. So since the only girlfriend I've had was last summer, in order to see her even a short period of time out of the eternity that I wanted, I had to ride my bike for about two hours just to get to her house. I did it at least 4 or 5 times. (the whole thing only lasted a month).
Point is, we decided to go for a walk through the woods in her back yard one day. We had to sneak across the lawn of this one building because there were boxes outside that people steal from and we weren't exactly supposed to be there....hahaha. So we start going up a hill and when we got to the top it was amazing. I can't even describe the view without it getting horrible looking. It was so beautiful. So we sat on the cliffside talking and looking around the valley in there. That was such a cute kiss we had there....well...the first one anyway...... .
Yea, I'll never forget that place, I want to go back there someday but it just reminds me of her. Sad I'm an idiot about that part....whoops...... . . . .

Bah, romance. It will be the death of me!! Grr!

I feel like I'm watching Lifetime.

This is probably why I can't think of anything to contribute to this thread (that is appropriate), I'd laugh uncontrollably if I were in Sixx's place.

A guy defended my animal testing bill in speech and debate. Which is lame, but the people who posted the bills couldn't respond to anyone else's comments on it, so he got up and verbally bitchslapped them all for me. Even if he looked like a pussy defending bunny rabbits. Laughing

And I needed new guitar strings, so he drove me way out to Guitar Center and got them and we sat in the parking lot bullshitting. 'Twas cool, even if he has a hopeless addiction to skanky chicks, and I wouldn't hit it to save my life. Bleh.
