hmm i just checked again... and it's 15

so this is probably useless for denis... since it's a british site.. and he'd have like an extra shipping cost... but he'd have that with american ones too.. so i dunno....

15 British pounds equals 25 Canadian dollars, and with the shipping... :(

I don't know, let's find a Canadian place that does it, so it's cheaper for the Americans (to cover the shipping cost) . . . .

I'd rather go with a place that will make them on an as needed basis and ship them out for me like spreadshirt rather than something where I have to pay a bunch upfront and ship them myself like showyourlogo.

I have already opened up a spreadshirt store and played around with it. It looks like a very good option.

For the plushies I dont think there will be any option other than mass preordering. Raymei already found a good place for that (in an older thread) but I'll start with stuff that I can get on an as needed basis.

A lot of the things people want will have to wait, unless Denis is secretly wealthy. There's a pretty standard selection of products that companies will make on an as-needed basis, and they're pretty much limited to clothing, mugs, mousepads, and maybe bags. Sketchbooks, pencils, playing cards, and things of that sort have to be preordered and shipped out himself. So unless he has the money now, best to wait on those and see how the others do.

The problem with the fundraising idea is that FAC is mostly populated by kids. Kids who may want the picture but either can't afford it or don't have a way to pay for it. I offered to round up some of the best artists last year to donate a picture to raise money, but it just logistically didn't work out. With shipping the picture and how unlikely it is to get a decent price for the picture quality. It'd be cool if it'd work out, though.

I have the money now, but I don't want to spend it unless I have good reason to belive I will make it back (and more).

The low age of many fac members makes me worry wether stuff will sell. Spread shirt should determine that.

Sell them cards with monsters donated by veteran FAC artists. Cool and throw in some rules.

EDIT: the Fanfic artists can throw in some story too, it's gotta involve entrusting the faith of an entire world to some normal 12-years old kid with a special lineage, gotta have special lineages Cool

Yes I did. Very Happy I'll be the next lamest t-shirt trend, right up there with "Vote for Pedro".

Pay my rent this month and I'll pay you back with love. Sad ^_^

Good, I hate those "vote for pedro" shirts.

The problem with anything relating to the FAC forum community is there's 30 people MAX who even know or care who we are. The other 20,000 on the site couldn't care less who Carter or Gray are, let alone have their picture on a shirt. The products have to be generic and wide reaching. Look at the merch for most other sites. Usually a standard identifying logo or image.

The only shirt I ever bought advertising a website is my Metal Sludge shirt. It's got the generic logo on the front and some generic text on the back about the website ("The Few, The Proud, The Bitter") plus web address. If it had images of popular forum members or anything, it'd only appeal to a fraction of all the people who buy them.

Simple is the key.
