I usually buy Japanese manga when I go down to NYC. They have a branch of Kinokuniya down there... It's marked up, but still cheaper than American translations. I wonder if Kinokuniya has Canadian branches... Hm...

XD Iwase is Canada's version of Kinokuniya. Except crazier.

Except it only has one store, and it's in Richmond. ._.; I think. As far as I know, there aren't any branches of Kinokuniya here. :|

I LOVE Fullmetal Alchemist! It's my favorite anime and my favorite manga right now, and if the few rumors I've heard about a movie coming out are true, then I cannot wait. ^_^

I'm sure it'll be fansubbed once the DVD comes out. You definitely don't want to watch it until you've finished the TV series though - it finalizes the anime. It ain't standalone.

It probably will, but considering how long it takes for people to fansub movies... You'll probably be lucky if it's subbed by Christmas. And that's guessing, 'cause I don't know when the dvd comes out. X3

I am somewhat regretting buying book 5 of the manga because it's all Winry Winry Winry. And that annoying girl with the automail legs that steals Ed's pocket watch. >_<

I don't hate Winry, but I don't exactly like her, either. Neutral

But I'd prefer to see more of Ed than her at any rate. And I don't remember the girl, but I've only seen the anime, so... ^^;;;;;

Well, a few days ago, someone made a torrent of cam rips of the movie. X3 Obviously the quality's going to suck, but I think I'll have a look anyway. :ph34r: Note for the curious: It's not fansubbed yet. XP Although I'm pretty sure that the group Yey!SUBs is working on it. I'm not a fan of their translations, though.

Cam rips are like that, though I got a decent one of Howl's Moving Castle.

And it doesn't seem like you can find many torrents of the movie. Most torrent sites don't have it up since it's been lisenced.

XD '~' Bleh. I'll just wait for a dvd. XD I've seen some pretty nice cam rips, but let me tell yeh: that FMA one? Not good. The beginning I was staring at had the camera pointed too high, so you could only see 1/5 of the screen at the bottom. XD I skipped ahead and they'd fixed it by then, but still... If I have to miss some of it, I'd rather not see the rest. ^^;
