NOTE1: Please read through everything carefully because it would really help. Extra polls/thread will be created by me within the next few days, so be patient. I am only going around to see how this WOULD turn out and hopefully WILL be on day soon!
Here is where I want to think about mainy the shirts, anything else having to do with FAC Merch go ahead and talk about but don't get too off topic.
NOTE2: I will soon be making surveys/polls for Sizes, colors, types, etc. So please no one try to help with that unless I ask. It will keep me quite on track if you do not make any.
Thanks <3
Most likely these are what we need to focus on:
Sizes - Sizes range from (Adult Sizes) S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL. I would like to survey on the sizes of FAC members so I can find at least 4 sizes of shirts to order knowing that they will fit about all of you that want to order. Remember, better the shirt being too big than too small.
Colors - All colors include: White, Ash, Athletic, Heather, Black, Burgundy, Cornflower, Denim, Forest Green, Gold, Kelly, Khaki, Kiwi, Natural, Navy, Orange, Red, Royal, Sagestone, Stone and Yellow. I need a survey so I can choose 8 colors.
Questions for colors/sizes just visit this page:
http://www.showyourlogo.com/custom-t-shirt...teez-tshirt.htm - To reconize colors.
Quantity - This is the basic idea: $2.11 per shirt. But the minimun amount order is 24 shirts, which comes out to about $50.64. So which is why i rather order 2 sets of 24 and have the sizes range to about 4 different ones. So about 48 T-shirts and 12 different shirts for each size. most likely I will double or triple the amount. Within a week or so of the beginning of the Merch. Colors will range about double the amount the sizes which mean for 24 shirts there are 8 different colors so 3 shirts per color.
Types There are long sleeve and short sleeve but most likely to start out with you would want a regular t-shirt. Here are other types for now maybe soon after/if everthing runs smoothly we could start having some different types. : )
http://www.showyourlogo.com/custom-t-shirts.htm
Other Merch Accessories will be less fuss with and we will just have a poll on what products we will have.
Money A way I thought we could raise money or get money for this is a FAC fun raiser! We could get about 5-10 very good artist to go requests for over average amount of money to draw COMPLETE (colored and neat, etc) pictures for members who are willing to pay for a drawing and be sent personally and in return the money for them.(Prices will most likely range 20$ or more for a complete picture depending on size and quality and the artist will get 25% or more of profit (depending on your guys decision) so we will all get paid for our hard work)
Logo The logo or mascot for all these products will be original artwork from FAC-ers of Fanart-central.net. I will be holding a contest for the logos of the shirts and accessories. Anyone who wants to can enter and there will be 8 winners who will have their artwork as a logo and there name along with it for credit. I was planning that soon we could even have Quote from fellow FAC-ers on t-shirts just to show and advertise how friendly, humorous, and great FAC really is!
Any other questions just reply here or ask me in e-mail! <3
oosugarcultoo@yahoo.com
P.S.
I will first wait approval of Denis to see how exactly we would get this whole Merch thing up and going!

This looks pretty good to me. I don't see much of a downside to this. Unless money is really tight. Looks good though. _________________ Vaccum cleaners may look fun, but are deadly sex toys. as are certain vegetables like, terri schiavo -Powtaz |

I agree completly with Sixx ... it does sound good but you have to take into account how many people would want to buy the things as even the pens take $.99 or whatever it said ... but other than that it does look really good you've looked into it all well . |

Yes, i'm fast but I had to get into detail. See, you also have to notice the site's detail when saying that there is a minimum amount you can order, because no matter how cheap the product is, that is how they make money, with the quanity. Hmm...But I was thinking about how to order them...I'm going to start a poll survey right now asking how much people would be willing to pay for a fun raiser. : ) |

at $2.11 per shirt I do like the showyourlogo idea, but I do question the quality at that price. Either way, I think its better to do a not pre-order to start then try something like this with the most popular products.
Those prices reflect very large orders, it would likely be quite a bit more cost at the min order sizes.
Don't worry about the money. If I see them likely to sell, I'll invest the money. _________________ You will obey or molten silver will be poured into your ears. |

Fruit of the Loom is good quality shirt. I always did like Fruit of the Loom and yeah they are cheap. Schools use them for thier shirts and pants and stuff and they're an old business. I'd like to wear a Fruit of the Loom shirt. |

would ordinary school book covers with FAC logo's in such be too expensive to order? Also, lots of stickers of mascots and logos and some art from fac? _________________ "edit : i luv james" - Layzcarter |

Do they customize? I know you can buy their blank shirts in bulk, but would you have to get a separate company to do the printing? I only have one Fruit of the Loom customized shirt with a David Lee Roth iron on, which isn't the best quality in the world. It's cracked and peeling off at the corners. But I don't know if the company I bought it from made it or Fruit of the Loom did. I've never seen a customized shirt done by them. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |
