Bmp To Jp(e)g

okay.. so like whenever i save a picture from the computer to my files.. it automaticly saves them as "bmp's" which is a major pain in the ass... cause the file size is bigger and i can't pload them to site's.. also animated GIF's loose their animation this way...

so is there a way (a setting) which can change this?

Well you get the box up, right? Just type .jpg afterwards.

No, no, ABSOLUTELY no. That will not work; it will only change the file's [b]name[/b], not its [b]format[/b].

To change a file's format, you need to go to the Save As dialog box, open the "Save as Type" dropdown list (located underneath the "Filename" box), and check what formats you have available.
