Fanart Pet Peeves

We're regular users and expect to be held to the same standards as such. No one should like or dislike me for being a mod, nor should they expect me to act a certain way. I can participate how I want, else I'd have no reason for doing the job. A pity you don't like it, but I'm sure there's a far greater number who would rather the mods socialize like regular people than the high and mighty mods of other forums who only respond in a polite, professional manner. Remove me, Kate, and Carter, and you'd have a very very different forum.

Whatever, the issue's been done to death over the years, it is the way it is. They're just words, people can talk as they please. If it's a sign of immaturity, then I'm pretty damn immature. And that's the way, uh huh uh huh, I like it.

Comparing anyone to Denis is apples to oranges. The man barely participates in any forum discussion, how would you know how he talks?

(and I'm going to assume most of that peeve was directed to me, since Carter and Kate don't swear nearly as much as I do. It's the way I talk, and I censor myself above and beyond what I'd like to, out of some level of courtesy)

nah. It wasn't directed to only you or only anyone. It was actually directed to everyone. I'm aware that people can talk how they want, live how they want, do anything how they want, but it's always nice for people to treat others at least a little respectfully even if it's in an online forum. I'm not trying to command you or anyone else to act a certain way, I was just pointing out a pet peeve if mine that I've noticed around the forums.

I hate noobs who are noobs on purpose. trolls, just for the fun of it.

whats the deal with the fangirls on the forums? I don't mind them as much as most people, they hardly go into the forums I am in (or I don't really notice them). And if they do, i don't try and hold any conversation with them, so i guess that is why i they don't annoy me as much.

I hate members who think they are great at art, when they suck. And can't take criticism well.

People who can't figure out the category system I set up in singers/bands. Sad

It just takes two seconds to put something under solo or group, [i]especially[/i] when there's a further subcategory for that artist in them.

Think there's a connection between the fact it's usually stuff like Avril Lavigne and Green Day that the person can't figure out to put in the proper category? Cool

adding one, girls who keeps commenting, thinking continuing the "arguement" will resolve any problems. :angry:

and those people (the same girls) who think DA will be a better place for their crappy art.

Oh yeah, don't get [i]me[/i] started about the categories. I have gripes like:

- People who think that something like a yellow-spotted purple cat with batwings should go under "Real Animals".
- Any kind of fanart being placed under Original > Requests/Trades .
