Well, October is here and its almost time for my 2nd favorite holiday: Halloween :D

I know its a bit early to ask but I just can't wait. What are your plans this year? Are you still trick or treating or have you grown into having mischeif night parties? Will you dress up this year? I maen, why wouldn't you? Its Halloween! Will you buy your costume or do you plan to make everything down to every last spooky detail? And of course, what are you going to dress up as?

What kind of candy are you looking foward to? Are you even going to get candy this year? How about toilet paper? Will you be needing plenty of that if you know what I mean? Will you give out candy this year? Will you do anything at all?

Sounds like fun. You're lucky because you're so young now. You can go trick or treating and the older men won't ask you in for a couple of drinks (funny experience that happened last year which is why I'm not going trick or treating this year.)

But a costume party will be cool too. Some karaoke, some candy, a few horror movies..I don't really know what my friends and I will do at the party but it will totally rock. B)

I'm going with a few of my friends, prolly 2 or 3, and were getting a shitload of candy and tryin' to get sick off of them. Though the sad thing is that halloween is on a school night for me. But that's not going to stop me from having a bitchin' time, I'll stay up all night anyways, doesn't matter to me, just one night, and just one day of bitch ass attitude. It would be worth it anyways xD

So yeah, that's what I'm gonna do.

This just made me realize I'ma miss my annual Halloween party at home. :(

Oh well. Gonna go to one at school (I get one test grade made a 100% by bringing a decorated pumpkin in my cultural studies class ). Dunno what I'm gonna be yet. Depends on how busy it looks like I'll be, 'cause I have zero money to buy a costume. Then I may go to any one of the numerous halloween parties in the apartment building.

I'm totally going trick-or-treating. Who am I to pass up free candy? I think I'll probably be taking my younger cousins around, so I don't look like a complete weirdo all bu myself. Also so old people can't say "Aren't you a little old to be trick-or-treating?"
Anyway, I'm going as the Dancing Queen. I have an old disco outfit that used to belong to my cousin in the seventies, and I'm going to do my hair like Farrah Fawcett. I'll wear a crown (cause I'm a QUEEN) and I also have little disco ball Christmas ornaments that I can use for earrings.
I didn't get to celebrate Halloween last year due to a trip, so I'm totally going all out this year.

I dunno if I'll go trick or treating this year. I wish I will though. My fav place to go is far from my house though so it'll depend if my parents will take me there. Fun thing is that people can mistake me for a 12 years old when I'm actually 15 lol.

For the costume, I'll proably change it. Purple and pink medieval (crappy) dress isn't the best thing to get plus I had it at the last minute last year. Thogh my friend love this costume 'cause I gotta admit it fits me pretty well. Only thing is that it's waaaay to tight around my chest... the kind of ribbon that tightens it (but mostly decoration) just... keep unting 'cause it's so small on me now (just there though) I didn't think that I'd be so stuck when last year it was merely tight on me lol

If I don't go treat or treating, I'll go at my friend's house and give out candies with her.

On that week end, we're making a girl party, horro movies, karaoke and I'll ask if anyone has a ouija board

I just bought a green Renaissance dress at the Renaissance Festival last year, and between the dress, the chemise, the shoes, and the hat it was kind of expensive (almost 200 bucks) and I only get to wear it once a year (if I even get to go to the festival), so I thought about wearing if for Halloween. The thing is, I don't want to go as some random Mideval person, so I recently had this great idea: ditch the Italian style Renaissance hat and make my own dark green witch hat to match the dress. That way I can use the costume, but still have it be Halloweeny. I have an old broom still in the attic from when I was a witch years and years ago, so all I have to do is buy some fabric and sew together a simple hat! (Imagine my avatar, but dark green with a brass colored band instead of orange, and no patch or spider.) I even have the long wavy hair for a autumn-style witch. Plus, I've wanted to be a non-black dressed witch for a long time anyway. I love autumn. It's my absolute favorite season ever!!! ^_^

I want to have a costume Halloween party, but other than food and music I have no ideas for entertainment suitable for 17-18 year olds. Help!

My mum's all dutched out so she thinks Trick o' Treating is a form of begging and doesn't want me to go. I've never in my life been trick or treating nor have I ever wore a fancy dress costume. Mum always thought it was stupid and it's a little late for me to start and not feel stupid.

Halloween isn't accepted here either, but a few years back I had a 'Spooky Dressup Party'... Everyone came as witches .__.

I might get some friends together and have a scary movie marathon, cos I'm awesome like that B)

I've never like done a Halloween party before either Amy. This will be like the first year for both my friends and I. I think the most we were planning to do was maybe some karaoke and Rocky Horror..well I haven't discussed the Rocky Horror with them but I'm sure they won't have any arguements against that. I mean, come on. Its Rocky Horror. :)

Well, how elaborate do you want to go on this party? Decorating is definetly a must whether you want to make some stuff or like buy rubber rats and bats and cats. I like remember seeing a site with some crazyass decorations for this kind of stuff. Totally gory s**t man. I'll post some links to these sites here or like rave about them in Random. :P

Um..bobbing for apples can be like pretty fun if you replace apples with something better than that. I think you should like fill up water balloons with like green slime and have people bob for those. Seriously, that would be like fuckin' insane. You have to like bite it hard enough to lift the balloon out but you can't bite so hard that like you break open a balloon and get green slime all over you. If you break open a slime balloon then you're out of the game. Person who gets like the most unbroken slime balloons wins. :)

And the bobbing water should be like green or red too. With dry ice to create a smoky hard-to-see fog effect. :D

Hmmm...horror movie watching is like fun to do if you can find some really disturbing s**t to like watch. I'm not good with this kind of movie watching so you'll probably have to like look up whats really good horror stuff. Pet Semetary was a pretty freaky movie. Maybe you can watch that. Or The Shining! Yeah, you can't beat the classics. But your friends like don't want to watch movies, right? Well that like sucks. :/ They're no fun. :(

Well if you want to really, really make the party interesting and almost dangerous then I suggest going on a self given graveyard tour. Just make sure to respect the graves and tombs. Just like take a midnight stroll around the place. Bonus points if you hire a person to dress up in a zombie costume and jump out of a bush durring your walk and scare the living daylights out of unsuspecting party goers.

If you're like into seances then like I guess you can do those too. I personally am totally against like spirit talking and anything like that but if you like have nothing against that then like totally try that if things get boring. Just please, please be careful if you do that. I probably shouldn't even have mentioned those. You can get into some pretty dark s**t with that. Forget I said anything. :unsure:

Laser tag! You guys should totally play laser tag in a graveyard. Come on! How original can you get? That would like be insane. You can use tombstones as like little sheilds to protect yourself and use the bigger tombs as like forts. There should already be like natural fog there. And you wouldn't like have any man made light to guide you. All you would have is the moonlight and the light from your laser tag pistols. I'm telling you, that is like a dream of mine to do. You should totally do that Amy. Its like a total Halloween party mega game thing.
