I actually prefer Beethoven to Mozart. I love to play Beethoven far more than Mozart. Mozart is so... static. All his stuff feels the same to me when I play it. I love Hyden the most, though. His music is such a riot to play.

Instead of the "Here Comes the Bride" song, I'm walking down the aisle to an opus by Beethoven. It's beautiful. ^_^

I dont know the composer of this song..my father says it sounds like something composed by Bach, but I'm not sure, considering it is in japanese (sung and filename..)

Actually, I'm rather confused on the matter..if somebody could read this..I'd be very greatful.

Help me, Fayore, Rindi, You're my only hope. Sad

It says, "tooi hi no uta (PAHHERUBERU no KANON)"

I think "pahheruberu" = Pachebel. So, Pachebel's Canon. <3

I like classical music, both old and new. =D I always like Tchaikovsky's ballet compositions, like Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty.

Modern is good too. Like the Lord of the Rings soundtrack by Howard Shore. MY GOD, that is some of the best music I've listened to. I have all three. :3

Believe it or not, Pachabel's Canon is voted as the third most boring classical song in the universe, but I disagree, it's one of my favorite. it's the same melody with the different tempo superimposed to make it sound different. ^_^

Really? I wouldn't have guessed. I quite like it too, I love soft classical music. Fast classical pisses me off. :/

I played piano for 5 years, so I used to know some.

...but that was about 5 years ago. So I forgot it all. BUT I did learn Moonlight Sonata a year or two ago. Gray Wub

That's one of my favorite songs. Gray Wub

So, all orchestral music is considered clasical?

No, no. Modern orchestral =/= classical, imo.

...

And I find One Winged Angel overly-long and sometimes tedious to listen to. Xenosaga's "The Miracle" is better, I think. ._.'

I like just about all classical music. The Lord of the Rings soundtracks are really good. Howard Shore does awesome with those tracks. Also, I really like Edvard Grieg's music. I've started playing his music, actually. Excellent composer. Pachelbel is very good too; his Canon in D is one of my favorite pieces. Beethoven was the first composer I ever really listened to, so I really like his music. I would list all my composers that I have something to say about, but it's probably all of them... Smile

here's a little beethonven stuff you might already know. but here goes.

beethoveen actually became deaf in his later years of music. he was told that if he stoped making music his hearing would last longer. but he kept on going and ruined many a piano.

he would put his ear on the piano and he could barely hear it when he would pound on it so hard that it needed to be tuned daily. just a couple of things there.

if i remember right he lost his hearing in a concert while he was being the conductor. poor him Sad Sad Sad :(

but he has to be the most well known classical artist to date. Razz Cool
