No offense to the game translator and designers, but Fire Emblem was pretty much butchered when it came over to the USA. The first one was good, and I liked it, but why didn't they publish Sacred Seal next, when it was so obvious that it was the sequal, now there's one for Gamecube with the cheesiest name (which I conveniently forgot) |

I actually love the Fire Emblem games *Tactics nerd*, I bought the one for the GBA when it first came out, I actually liked it quite a bit, but after I beat it the first time, I neverrrr watched any of the scenes again, I think alot of the Dialouge sucked ass. Though I did cry waterfalls at the end of Lyndis' (SP?) Story, I thought it was very sweet.
:S I never bothered picking up the NA version of Seima no Kouseki (It was Sacred something or other..:S..), though-- I should have, to see if they killed L'Rachel's personality-- She's my favourite FE character of all time. Anybody know if they did a decent job on the localisation of Seima no Kouseki?
The one for the GC looks trashy, though...It looks like Baten Kaitos, but stripped of fun. _________________ |

Sacred Sword was the sequal to the Fire Emblem published in America. |

The one I'm talking about is DEFINETLY not Sacred Sword, My friend told me it's 'The Sacred Stones' the other day, actually.
She said L'Rachel was just fine. _________________ |

Sigh, let me get the facts straight. Ahem. There are 8 Fire Emblem games in all, three have come out in the USA. Fire Emblem, Sacred Stones, and the new one for gamecube (WTF?! They published the game for Marth's version before Roy's. Man these guys need to go in order!!) Sealed Sword is the sequal to the original Fire Emblem (the first one to be published int the USA) and Sacred Stones is also for GBA (it has some new character types in it)
Fire Emblem is kinda like FF. The storylines don't relate (with the exception of Sealed Sword) |
The only new Fire Emblem I know about coming out right now is the one for Gamecube
Are you talking about "Path of Radiance?" In the Nintendo Power reviews, it got 9.5. That's good, real good. I hope it's good, I wanna play it! _________________ It took me about ten minutes to defeat Giga Bowser, Ganondorf, and Mewtwo from Super Smash Brothers Melee using Peach.
How long did it take my brother to defeat those characters using Yoshi? Two minutes.
I like to obsess over stuff. Here are all the things I'm obsessing over:
Song: Seize the Day by Default
Anime: D.Gray Man
Anime character(s): Kanda
Video Game: Super Smash Brothers Brawl
Video Game character: Wolf O-Donnell from Star Fox Assault
OC: Ray Eclrida, copyright of me (duh!)

GRR. Path of Radiance my butt. What are those tranlsators doing?! sheesh! Also, Path of Radiance is Marth's story wihch would follow Roy's. which would follow Eliwood's. Their going all out of order! *fumes* Fire Emblem was one of my favorite games when I went to Japan. I hope they do the rest of them in order.
Edit: Crap, I got it wrong. Keiro no Kagayaki is Path of Radiance, so the gamcube cersion is correct. Dammit, I was thinking about Fuuin Subeta, the Sealed Sword. So then, the one before that was...? Crap, I mixed everything up. Ignore what I said so far. |

I heard that the new one for Game Cube was actually good. X PLay liked it, and I pretty much go by what those two say. ^_^ _________________

The one that's out for Gamecube was originally made for Famicon in Japan, so it has to be god-like (those old games were AWESOME) I tried the demo, *heaven* |
