Have you ever deleted many pictures out of your gallery one day because you felt they were inadequete and you hated getting comments on it? share them here!
I, one day decided to delete all works (10+) that had a major problem going on with body porportions, badly colored is badly colored, but looking at mutated bodies is a bit of a pet peeve to me. How about you?

I've always wanted to do that with all the chibi crap (adn the disproportionate people) going on in my gallery, but I can't because I don't have a hard copy of the pictures anymore - my sketchbook with them in it was stolen a couple years back. ^^; _________________

I once went and deleted a bunch of lousy sketches that no one cared about (myself included). I'm really tempted to clear out all of my uncolored lineart and sketches because they kind of interfere with my nicer works, but I don't because I like a lot of them. They just aren't up to standards with my better pictures. If FAC would set up some sort of Scraps section for me to toss my sketches into like they have over at DA, I'd be so happy.
Then again, having a feature like that would probably encourage all the preteens to submit even more Sonic doodles than they already do. o_o; |

I haven't needed to delete much from my gallery. Usually when I do, it's because of:
1 - Technical problems (such as uploading the wrong sized pic, or quickly producing a better version of it, or forgetting to add a signature to it)
2 - It was a work-in-progress, and I remove it once I complete the final version.

That is, in theory, the difference between "Finished work" and "quick sketch". Denis, here's an idea, what if you made that a selectable browsing criteria? _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

A little while ago, I brought my gallery down from 2 pages to one page. Too much crap. I kept some of my 'ol' things because people liked them, but I canned so much stuff. I got rid of a lot of dollz and chibis and crap like that. People were seeing it in my gallery before all my good stuff, so I had no choice but to get rid of it. _________________ FAC |

On the other hand, I did subject my two highschool sketchbooks to a fiery end. No, I'd rather not go into details. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

Every once in a while I go through and delete old ones, because I dislike it when people comment on my really old ones :/
I plan on one of these days wiping out like half my gallery (keeping only the stuff from like the past year and a half) but deleting just takes to much time XD

Can't you just save them off the site?
I always delete things when I can't stand having them up anymore. Usually when I get a comment on something uploaded when I first joined, and I delete it after looking at it and seeing how much it sucks. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. hmm... I'd love to see how Fallen drew when she was 16, how old are you now by the way? _________________ "Sarah's future makes me sad." - Benk |
