It took me about ten minutes to defeat Giga Bowser, Ganondorf, and Mewtwo from Super Smash Brothers Melee using Peach.
How long did it take my brother to defeat those characters using Yoshi? Two minutes.
I like to obsess over stuff. Here are all the things I'm obsessing over:

to calculate it accurately, minus 12 years from the years I listed, if you were born that year frame, you belong to that generation.

Nope.

Before the Sailormoon generation we can consider the Dragonball Z generation.

Battle Of The Planets/G-Force (original title: Gatchaman) and similar anime are considered [i]'Old School'[/i].

I can't wait for the Naruto generation.... <_< I babysit for two little boys who get Shounen Jump. They pretend to be Naruto and his ninja friends. I get to be the girl. Because of this, I can never love Naruto.

Well, TECHNICALLY, my first anime was "Mayaa the Bee". It was one of my favorite shows when I was a toddler. :3

But when it comes to "first favorite anime knowing that it was from Japan", I'd say Pokemon, as it is with a lot of people my age.

I would have to say I'm from the Sailormoon generation. It's what inspired me to start drawing anime. Now I want to become an animator. I got so obsessed with that show, and I still like it, plus many more. But the first anime I use to watch was Astroboy. But back then, I didn't know what anime was, lol.

To be honest, Yugioh *blushes*

At first I was all, "Stupid anime. why is everyone so obsessed with it?" After my cousin had me watch it I was all, "Why do I LOVE this so much!?"
Aaaaand after that I became an anime freak with the rest of them. I was crazy over that show though. Loved the dragons and became to attatched to the chars (Seto :wub: )

Oh, how one show can change your whole outlook on the anime world, eh?

I forget what mine was but it was either Tenchi (all of them), sailor moon or DBZ of course at the time i didn't have i clue what anime was they were just all cartoon to me.

This is more of a guideline than a strict rule, it's not when you were born, it is the time period where you got interested in anime that matters. Banghead

for me it had to be DBZ/DB and YYH. i started watching them about the same time and i had no i dea they were from japan but i really got interested when shonen jump started coming out and i subscribe so i cant wait for each issue to come out
