When pigs fly and newbies read the forum rules. XD That's good. Well yeah, I've never gotten a picture of the hour, though I don't mind too much. I don't have anything up right now that's very good (though I'm working on one and the pose is driving me insane. ><) |

Yeah, the odds are slim and what's even worse that most people will only get comments if they appear on there. Whats even worse is that most of time it's just a SKETCH Not even a nicely done one! Why can't we just have a Deviant Art setup like the most reviewed or so.
Oh year SilentSoul92 or Rita, Star Ocean the Second Story is the BOMB! My sister had some nice fan art but it went poof when are PC crashed shame |

There was a previous comment (by Strata I think) that implied something similar will be implemented with the new layout. I hope they do that, too. Though we don't want to become a little version of deviantart. I shudder at the thought. |

A little version of Deviant art, well I suppose not, most of thier artist well, are practically up at the big-time and even selling prints of their work. I don't know but I just think it could be tweaked a little more like when you submit it is so hard to find the right placement of your art. I think it should be seperate and not in one little seperate scroll. Kind of like Yahoo I don't know or just Seperate the big major one into seven sub one with their own small scroll bars you know the number of categories they have at it's side. |

Same, I don't like deviant....too much stuff on one page, its crowded. Especially for the easily confused like me who cant decide what to click first. Now, if we became a bit more like Elfwood, with the ability for non-members to comment, or for the artist to respond to the comments so that the person who asks a question in a comment gets a notification that its been answered, or with all of the gallery on one page ( i remember we used to have that option, I can't stand having to look at more than one page so whenever I look at someone's gallery I type their name into the old url so I can see their stuff like that lol) ... |

Being able to reply is a DA feature. Or is at least better handled by DA's design. Elfwood, in terms of design and how well it functions, is a wasteland. It's got far bigger problems than FAC has.
Lots of new things are in the works, just a matter of getting everything finalized.
Non members being able to comment just lead to abuse. If someone cares enough to comment, it takes all of five minutes to register. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

One extra alert makes all the difference: dA notifies the user of a reply to their comment, FAC doesn't. That's why we get a lot of those replies on our profile pages, because if they leave it on their pic, we won't know about it. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

I've never had problems with Elfwood. The only thing I don't like on it is the fact that you cannot fav an artist or picture, and the fact that those tickets can sometimes take very long to process. But that part is more about the fact that less than 1/2 of the mods are active anymore (at least most of the time) |
