So far, the PS3 has yet to impress me. They had nothing to show at E3, plus the console itself is very unaplealing, asthetically speaking.
The 360, on the other hand, had playable demos that kicked ass and rocked hard. Built in dvd playing capabilities are a definate plus, but also the fact that the hardware is will be upgradable as time goes on, coupled with all the new features and backwards compatability that won't sacrifice performance, this is the definate choice.
It's sad. Soney still seems to be playing with inferior technology.

Niga pls. Sony and Microsoft always fail to deliver in the end, it may have bells and whistles and be 'off da hizz' now, but in the end..

I think timing, and just the general marketing of the 360...is on spot. Sony has it's unwavering fan base. And so does Nintendo(lets not even talk about their marketing strategy). But The 360 still has some fresh blood to offer. Screens and little movies on the net won't really show you just how sweet the X360 is. Go to a local best buy or target/walmart (whatever's close to you). And they should have kiosks with them.
I played one two weeks ago, and now I'm counting down the days till launch.
As for Strata... don't waste your breathe VR, he just isn't interested in the system. As for me, I'm fully amped for PGR3. I'm gonna take that baby online right out of the box!! Oh yes. |

| PS3 but only cause I'm seriously attached to Sony. ^^ All my favorite games are on the PS2 like Star Ocean, or .hack, and of course the FF series. |

Revolution is the highest on my list, not that I'm actually bothered much to pick up the next gen consoles, considering I shelled out 100$ for my PS2, and 150$ for my GC..well, I made money on the xbox, but thats beside the point, and considering they're still making games for PS2 I'm really not bothered..Though the new Elder Scrolls game does give me a reason to think of buying a 360...
And PS3 hasnt annouced anything intresting to be released before '07..
Man, even if I did spend money, I'd just end up getting assraped when they release the new consoles in 3-4 years.

I chose both cause I don't relly like eather. PS3 messed up the Duelshock 2 remote with the Boomarang. and I just don't like X-box that good, but the 360 is better than the old one.

I have yet to see ANY title to make me consider getting an X-box, let alone bet on the 360.
PS2 was different because I already had a lot of PS1 titles, and Jak & Daxter / Dark Cloud looked pretty interesting.
GameCube? Super Smash Bros., and the rest came later.
That's how I was with choosing the current hardware. For the next-gen?
360? Already mentioned. No gots interest, no gots XBox games, no get 360.
PS3? First of all, show me the price point. Then show me the games. [i]Then[/i], maybe we'll talk.
Revo: Much love for the controller. Still waiting to see the games, but I'll keep ears open on this one.

backwards compatablity for the xbox 360 i have heard from many that there will be no bakcwards compatabilty but you can some games for it like halo or sumthin
but the ps3 will have backwards compatablity b/c it is sony and that is what they have alway done so all my ps2 games will be played on the ps3 and the xbox 360 is freakin expensive so i hope that the ps3 will be atleast a little less
ps3>xbox360>rev.
rev. sucks cause the psp can already have emulaters which means you can get any game already if you can find it and nintindo showed it's true colors with the ds being a piece of crap commpared to the psp so many will take that into consideration |

What it is is an emulator that allows you to play many of the later produced games on the 360. As of this time, it is unconfirmed as to what games this will be.
Backwards compatibility isn't really a selling point for me, as I have so many different consoles anyways. You can play old Nintendo games on the Revolution? Big whoop, I already have an NES, SNES, and 64. So I'm not really hanging on whether I can play old XBox games on the 360.

The PSP was sh*tty, the fact that the most 'original' title they could offer was Death JR was somewhat dissapointing.
And look at that 350$ Pricetag! And what? Releasing games that you can buy for PSX + UMD video?
WOAW I'D TOTALLY BUY THAT!
Oh, and by the way, Nintendo Showed it's true colors years ago. ^_^
