Tis true. The manga had far more to it, and Chibi Usa wasn't some snot nosed brat. Then again, I think the American version helped that along. Naoko Takeuchi had a really pretty style. It's too bad that series was the only one of hers to make a huge splash.

Corector Yui (I don't even know if it's spelled righ), Astro Boy, Calydo Star, Yu Yu Hakusho, Mega Man, Digimon 3 and 4, Pokemon (after thye first seson), and a bunch of other ones I can't think of now. They all completly SUCK!!! X_X

omg one piece is sooooooooooooo much worse than it alredy is in the anime it just sucks the manga from shonen jump is so much better

I second the emotion on Sailor Moon (poor Rei, she was so much cooler in the manga) and GetBackers. I also think the Naruto manga is way better than the anime, but I like Junko Takeuchi's voice (I haven't heard the others).

On the other hand.... Princess Tutu. Mary Holy Mother of God. The manga is such a pointless, repetitive, ugly pile of sh*t. The anime pwns it a thousand times over.

Ahem, Mew Mew fan here! Well, I'm not that big of a fan at the moment. I've been getting into Saiyuki lately (watched the trailer on the computer, listened to some of the songs on the computer).

Speaking of Saiyuki, I think the anime looks pathetic (except for Kougaiji :wub: ). I like the manga better, the characters look better.

How long did it take my brother to defeat those characters using Yoshi? Two minutes.

Its only redeeming thing is its music, which rocks it up hard.

...I hate to fault Saiyuki, at all, but I agree... It's mostly the art that annoys me, and Gojyo having pink hair (What's up with that?).

I've only just started watching it though (I read the manga instead...), so I can't say too much against it.

I haven't really seen it yet either, I'm just commenting on the screencaps. Except, I have seen the 1st, and 2nd openings for Gensomaden Saiyuki, and the 1st and 2nd endings. I love their songs, exspecially 'For Real'. Also, I heard what Sanzo and Hakkai's voices sound like in English (from a site called sushicereal).

But yeah. I've seen nearly all 101 episodes of Saiyuuki (missed the last few of Reload). And I still need to see the OVA, too.

The animation gets better in Reload [Gunlock], but, sadly, the colours get a little duller. But it's okay because the animation isn't eating itself anymore. <3 We need not mention Sanzou the Giraffe anymore, thank God.

+10002434 points for its new music. Fukisusabu Kaze no Naka de = best ending theme EVAHR.

Actualy, I really liked the gods.

I personaly like Homura's character design.

The Cloak on his shoulders, shackles, and different eye colors struck me as pretty cool.

Homura had a hawt character design. But he was even better in the hands of Minekura-sensei. Surprised

I never really looked into Rave Master, just maybe caught the last 30 seconds of the end... I personally think it looks lame, dubbed or no.

I never really liked the Naruto anime. I think the art's better in the manga, plus I don't really like the soundtrack. (No Boy No Cry is fun though)

As for Princess Tutu, it's the other way around. I love the anime, and I don't feel like shoving tweezers into my ear canal when I listen to the dub (I like Chris Patton ^^). But the manga is ugly and is boring as hell.
