They were big for awhile.

I'll give them kudos on their marketing/publicity tactics.

I, personaly despise them.

They covered Under Pressure with My Chemical Romance.

Let me say this much, The vocals sucked beyond all comprehendable reason.

It made me want to claw my eyes out, and use the now useless orbs to block my hearing.

They know how to flaunt the depressed Nightmare Before Christmas theme to its fullest extent. I'll give them points on that. Their music is nill though.

The music itself is OK, my im getting that CD for my friend b/c she likes them, but i the image of the band (all gothy and crap) is ruined when the vocals start, because he's all high-pitched and whiney. I personally don't like them, (but that doesnt mean im not gunna get it for her b/day.)

I knew these guys when they were starting out as Strange Itch in high school. Most of their music was pretty much Green Day at that time. I left the country for about a year, and when I came back, the former bass guitarist told me about The Used.

I had some classes with Branden. It's odd to see him all famous now.

I actually have no idea what they sing.

If they murdered 'Under Pressure', I'm going to be pissed off too. Grr!

They did. The instrumental part is a little off, but that is forgiveable.

The vocals...

R.I.P. Sad

Anyone would murder it, though. It's one of those songs you don't touch, like Imagine. Robert Plant and David Lee Roth couldn't come close to Freddie and Bowie. The song wouldn't suck of course, like it does with the Used, but it wouldn't be particularly good either.

Was it as bad as the Fugees cover of Bohemian Rhapsody? That one takes the cake for me. Maybe I'll look into listening to it.
