Anyway, FMA.

Some of the music is pretty good. But then again, I never waste my money on anime OSTs. They're thrown all over the net. All of mine are downloaded CDs. :B I'm awful.
But... it's pretty good. Some songs are lame, but I guess every OST has it's sucksongs. :\ _________________ FAC |

Except for the Xenosaga I ost. That thing can do no wrong, as far as I'm concerned.
I have this bad feeling that I'd do what you do, but I just don't have the space for it. 3gb ain't much. _________________

Man, we're only at episdoe 30 somethin here. e.e So I gotta wait to see the movie. But here's what I think about it.
I think it's very deep. You can see the bond between Edward and Alphonse countless times throughout the series, and you get a feel for their attitudes almost from the start. Edward being the hot-headed older brother, and Alphonse being the more rational one. Edward, feeling that since he's the older brother, he has to be strong for Al's sake. (or what I think at least XD) Which is probably why he only crys a handful of times. And when Nina was killed, he was sobbing. (I almost cried too. ) Anyways, at times in the series, you think that the Philosopher's Stone isn't real, and tell yourself they need to move on. But as soon as they find something important, you're practically entranced with the screen. (I am XD) Anyways, I think the story is very well-written. And the show's a good example of equal fighting. I mean, the good guy doesn't come out unscathed from a fight, while the bad guy got the sh*t knocked outta him. No, in several fights, it almost seems as if Ed's going to die. But, now I'm rambling. So I shut the mouth. *puts paper clip on lips* |

I love the firght scenes. Ed is so kickass, but he's not that strong. Really, he isn't. And the expressions...
Especially the episode with Barry the Chopper - Ed comes out of that hurt physically and mentally - something a lot of other anime "heroes" tend to forget, it annoys me to no end when I see an anime character being beaten halfway to death, winning, and thrinking, "I won! Now I just need to get my wounds treated..."
That's not how it goes. That character didn't think about dying? Not even once?
That's why I love that episode of FMA, Ed has quite a lot of depth to his character. And as clichd as it might seem, when he admitted that alchemists were still just human beings, capable of dying; still just mortal, it made me want to cry with him because it shatters the illusion that alchemists, because they're capable of their "alchemy" that they're indestructible. They're not. And that got me depressed along with Ed.
Especially because Paku Romi does a good job.
But still. Yeah... _________________

It's also one of the best dubbed animes I've seen. The movie was in Japanese (which would explain why most of the time I was lost) and it was really good as well. (the Japanese voices for Ed and Al sound so different than the English ones) |

Wow, I'm so dense. It took me this long to realize.
*spoiler*
Sloth, the homunculus, looks a lot like Ed's and Al's mom doesn't she. She's the homunculus that resulted from the failed transmutation, right? |

Yup, you are right Arlia *spoiler*she was the result of them trying to transmute her. I love the story of Wrath though. I love how they made him the one with Ed's arm and leg.*spoiler done* It's kind of hard to talk about the show and not reveal a spoiler. I have all the episodes and I'm currently working on the first game. I just love this series so much _________________ |
