I think Fayore wants to be offended by me.
But hey, I've been to Japan. The food rocks, and the honey's are extra fine. But yeah, I still hate their gaming market. So bite me!
RPG's were cool 10 years ago, and they haven't changed much since. I'd rather play rpg's with dice, then on a system. It makes more sense, then taking turns on a videogame.
Xbox has porn? Hmm... didn't know about that (oh yeah got the nudy volleyball on my second xbox . But yeah, you wanna look into the seedy porn of videogames it was all on the genesis... in (drum roll) JAPAN!
And please, look at the sales figures of the japanese gaming market... you'll find I just might be right.
And bigotry? Where does that come in? Am I racially slandering the japanese, cause I don't like their videogaming prefference. Are you Japanese?
I can throw a bomb on U.S. gaming... I'd like to see EA eat $#!t and die.
And lastly I'm hear to say, I'm not gonna shut up. |

The 360 is only $400. But yeah, consoles have never been more than $300(with the exception of the neo geo). But the hardware packs a punch. You're basically paying for a high end pc gaming machine, packaged in a small console. But that may sound off. Since it's not exactly PC gaming(despite what some chumps may spat). But the original xbox basically was like a small computer. And the second (the 360) will only continue that trend.
As for the PS3, a lot of things are still up in the air about it. It will have a cell processor. And blue ray capabilities. Those are it's two strongest points. But they could also prove to limit it. I've read articles about the fact that the PS3 drive may only be able to read the blue ray dvds at 1X speed!? And the 360 has multiple processors. None of which are as powerful as the cell processor, but when their processing power is combined they prove more usefull. As they can perform more tasks.
But really it's far too early to say what's better. But I can easily say that with the general gaming market in their pocket, the PS3 will do better.
I've been thinking lately about how marketing affects the life of a console too. And with the massive shortage, I don't think the 360 is off to a good start at all.
Here's my last tid bit, and this is just a personal gripe. I think the names of the new consoles suck, PS3 (weeeeeaaak), and even the xbox 360 is quite weak. The Revolution is probly the best name wise. That's just me being an old gamer. I like new names for the consoles. Think it separates them from their predicessors better. |
