Thanksgiving is a time of year when we give thanks for what we have, who we have and everything in between. But do we ever really think about what we're thankful for? Sure you're thankful for your health, family and friends but thats almost like an involuntary thing to say at this time of year and most likely, you don't really mean it.
So instead of all that "I'm thankful for my family and health and Jesus and blah blah blah" I want you all to say what you're really thankful for. Be totally honest in here and remember that in FAC, there is no such thing as shame. _________________ Vaccum cleaners may look fun, but are deadly sex toys. as are certain vegetables like, terri schiavo -Powtaz |

I'm thankful for the Internet, as it gives me awesome people to talk to. And porn. And downloads of videos and music and anime and everything else I like. And porn.

I'm thankful..
That I only have two years of highschool left.
That my friend Melissa cut her hair, so I now have the longest hair in Grade Ten.
That I fit in with the dorky artsy drama people.
That I have a guitar teacher who shares the same taste in music as me.
That I am more talented in many things than my mother is.
That I have the internet.
That I'm apparently not the only one who has Simpsons episodes memorized.
That my dad cares about my feelings, although my mother does not.
That my friends are not double-crossing backstabbers like so many people in my school.

...When's Thanksgiving? o_O;
And, I'm thankful for whatever Joou said. :D
And, on a more serious note, thankful that I got to grow up in Canada. I've asked my mother about the kind of childhood she had (she grew up in an extremely poor family; I've been to her old home before on vacation and it was literally a dilapidated building, cramped with only three-four rooms, and no indoor plumbing. AND some of her family still lived there. ). I can't even fathom having to grow up continuously cold, hungry, and in a filthy home.

Aww, I love Joou's and Katie's posts. So sweet and honest. ^_^
And yeah, my list:
*That I am now comfortable around everyone I meet and see
*All my friends from FAC because if it wasn't for you guys, I know I wouldn't be the kind of person I am today. I really found myself thanks to you guys and I can't really thank you all enough for it.
*The Okenquists, aka the greatest family in the world. They're like our family now and I love them so much. Mostly for their son, Phil who is totally cool.
*All those nights of seeing Gray do stupid and random things on webcam.
*The late Kakaoke nights with Tom, James, Nova, Gray and Kena. I'll totally never forget those.
*Logan's sarcastic sense of humor that makes a thread that much more interesting
*Herbal Esscence shampoo and conditioner that keeps me smelling really good.
*Indoor plumbing
*That after almost a year of knowing him, Gray and I have become such close friends as we are now. I really didn't see it coming but it did. Its wonderful.:)
*I'm slowly but surely learning some level of guitar skills
*My accoustic Fender guitar
*My boyfriend turned out to be a great kisser and my first real kiss with him felt great:wub:
*I passed gym :woot:
*Even though I almost failed Health, I can still make fun of him with my boyfriend. The gay jokes are priceless.
*My boy can dance like a black man. Makes me proud of him.
*I can eat tons of Halloween candy and still manage to lose weight _________________ Vaccum cleaners may look fun, but are deadly sex toys. as are certain vegetables like, terri schiavo -Powtaz |

If its any consolation, I've been walking like two miles everyday for like the past month and a half. Thats the only way I've been explaining it. I was so sure that I've been gaining weight. Turned out that I lost four pounds. Its so weird..
But yeah, I'm like thankful for having a huge school to do all that walking in. It really helped. _________________ Vaccum cleaners may look fun, but are deadly sex toys. as are certain vegetables like, terri schiavo -Powtaz |
