This is not an opinion forum. You clearly missed that. You also missed a number of other things, including the fact I will tear up anyone who prances in and tries to get smart with me for no reason. Yep, entirely condescending.

I explained my reasoning, and I am perfectly capable of providing reasons it is not a good dvd/group beyond "I dun lyke dem". Which I did. And could continue to do. The musicianship is low and writing no better. That fact alone means the dvd will be no good.

You completely missed the point again with your little example. OK, so you don't like a director and can assume you probably won't like their next work but can't say for certain. Fair enough. BUT, if you read the script and looked at the cast, you could beyond a reasonable doubt. Because if the cast doesn't have the ability, and the script blows, no amount of clever lighting or nice soundtrack is going to save it.

Your example is the equivalent of if I had only seen U2's music videos and heard their old work. I've read and heard the script for this dvd. I've seen the cast perform. And no amount of little extra elements are going to make it better.

Read a little closer. Because unless you have an argument beyond "I LIKE THIS DVD!!!!!", stfu. And read some of the pinned topics, because "I like it" is not a valid response.

Well, I've give you one thing. You're slightly less foolish than some who have gotten themselves banned in the past. Kudos.

Now stfu. ^_^

QUOTE (tengoku)
This is a cheap shot, but I didn't ask for your opinion as you say I did. I just stated that I liked the show. And the way you swoop in to 'play with the newb' like the god of this board that you are is as egocentric as the band's self image.

Denis is the god of the board. Fallen's the jesus ;)

Saw some of it yesterday, and I can safely say that it is not even close to the level of another recently released concert DVD (R30 pwned sooo much).

Didn't like it much. told my Dad to call me for Sunday Bloody Sunday, either they didn't play it or he forgot to call me. Wathced Vertigo, disliked it, went back to R30.

See, that's the thing. Sunday Bloody Sunday is a good song. They have a handful of old good songs. But everything for years n' years has been worthless and mostly ignored by the public, but U2 still hang on to that "glory" from before.

So all you get on the DVD is a bunch of shitty songs, a couple old good ones, and a lame egocentric and lackluster performance. The point of a concert DVD is to show a concert, not be a cinematic masterpiece. So given the fact U2s performance and setlist suck, the DVD sucks.

Sunday Bloody Sunday is played, so he forgot to call you.
