Halo 3 wish list? Uh...ok. Well lets see... I wish/hope they don't put the arbitor in it AT ALL. I hope the story doesn't suck. And I think the duel weilding is crap. It's more of a distraction than anything else.

Hmm.... what else? If they can ressurect the story somehow... I'd be happy. But yeah we'll see I guess. I am interested to see how awesome it'll look, I guess.

And yeah Bungie is a first party developer for microsoft so it will never be on a sony system.

Halo 3 is most definitely *not* coming out for the PS3, sorry.

I agree with many of your wish lists, but have a few qualms. I am not criticizing, but I do think I should point out why these things should or should not be in the 3rd game.

Duel wielding was based off how easily and effectively a weapon could be used in one hand. That is why only certain weapons in Halo 2 could be duel wielded, as many were either too big or just impossible. A shotgun's kick is just too much to allow one handed use. Also, they have smaller shotguns right now, but even they require two hands to use.

Ugh, I never liked health pick-ups. Distracted from the game play. I'd rather be in a high intensity fire fight, ducking for cover and taking pot shots where I can instead of trudging around searching for health drops and wasting time.

Troop commandeering is a double-edged sword. If done well, controlling your men can lead to a rich game experience and open up new opportunities, however, it can also bog down game play if you are forced to "micromanage" your men's every movement, baby-sitting them the whole way. I prefer the marines thinking for themselves, personally.

But yeah, Halo 3 needs epic battles. Huge friggin' conflicts. Also, more city fighting, crawling through rubble, blowing down walls, street fights, that sort of thing. Close quarter combat. Also, I DO NOT want to play as the Arbiter. I bought Halo 2 to be Master Chief, not some Elite voiced by Keith David.

My wishlist

1. Change from 1st person to 3rd person (Although that would change the concept of the whole best first person shooter of all time)

2. More senseless glitches ^_^

3. Smarter troops/ less repetitive conversations

4. Destroy the Arbitor (it would have been better it they had just shown you cutscenes leading to the whole idea of the elite's exiling themselves from the covenant not inventing a retarded character just to go with the game >/ )

5. I hope to god it wont be a human-elite vrs. covenant it would be better if there were 3 different wars going on (Also not to mention the sentinels and the flood)

6. They better keep the ragdoll thing when the troops dies (It's just to funny)

7. Download your own soundtrack (To go with the game)

8. More melee weapons (aka swords, knives maybe even maces )

9. If you can be an elite in multiplayer you better be able to be grunt and or a hunter

10. What will said "more city- fights" the whole reason that was awesome because it was such a different concept of a setting to fight at instead of halo

11. Space combat

12. Scarab driving ? That would be good, but only if it wasnt so frickin slow TT_TT

13. Last but not least a sex-scene to end the series :wub:

Multiplayer really hasn't been discussed yet, so I want to touch on that now.

When I saw that you could choose between human and covenant races in multiplayer, my first thoughts were of climactic battles of Spartan's vs. Elites. But instead they just did the standard Red vs. Blue and you can pick your character model before hand. f**k that. Toss out the Color vs. Color idea and make it Spartan vs. Elite, where one side is all human and the other all covenant. It would make for awesome game play.

Also, make the clan stuff more immersive. Instead of it just being a party of guys going in and playing random game types, lets have actual mission based game play scenarios. Your overlord and other higher ups select missions that your clan will partake in "mercenary" style, with certain rewards in place for victory. Lets say that you're clan is involved in a mission that requires you to infiltrate a covenant strong hold while a battle rages. AI will be involved in the form of marines, grunts, jackals, etc. Your team will be inserted and then go about achieving your goals. But also you would have teams of players on the other side, taking the role of elites. They would be either defending this strong hold r have other goals themselves. In this way, it's like you are playing a single player mission, but on a massive multiplayer style.

Furthermore, your equipment is what your team already possesses prior to this mission, meaning you need to plan before hand, or hope you come across something nice on the battlefield. You can use your winnings from each mission to buy more equipment, ammo, and vehicles for your clan. Certain clans could even sell their services to the highest bidder. This would up the team work and tactical elements of the multiplayer game significantly.

I hope the enviroment will be alittle bit more interactive it would be awesome if the spartan suit could shift into camo or something to go with the backround

Oh, you mean like if the game had some sort of invisibility mode that would allow you, at certain parts, use a degree of stealth to get the upper hand on you enemies? Maybe this could be in the form of a pick up, and to make it work in the world of the game, make it covenant technology that is adaptive to you own suit's mechanics. Yeah, sure would be cool if Bungie added something like that.

I was speaking of more human stealth tactics turining invisible is just retarded in my point of veiw I'd like to give my opponent some form of a chance I was more so talking about actually shifting your suit to the eviroment as in camoflouge more so in nature than in a ship. Plus I like the diversity in the game. Just a way of earth forces using stealth some shred is all I ask. (Sneaking behind an elite and batting him behind the head ISNT GOOD ENOUGH FOR SATISFACTION!!!)




EXAMPLE: Say that for some reason your fighting in a rain forest

your suit: Would be a darker green to match the surrounding (I dont think I would get carried away, but I think picturing Master Cheif with a few twigs sticking out of his helmet alittle comical . And like alittle stealth meter on how easily seen you are seen or something to let you know how visible you are. (I dont know how this would fair in multi-player.)

Other interactive parts: say when your in a covenant ship and you come across a set of lights I would like to shoot them out and hide in the dark.

I know it's more of a splinter cell sounding and snake eater, but I think bungie could find a way to be unique

Also shifting your veiw- as in heat vison yadda yadda yadda (Turning on a head light is just too obvious)
