I've also seen at least half a dozen different pictures of broken 360's around the web already. Apparently it's pretty fragile.

Yea, what Strata reported is correct. It's only shutting down because the massive brick known as the Xbox 360 power supply needs a good foot and a half distance from anything besides what it's on(wall, curtains, etc.). Mine was close to the wall the first night, moved the brick, it hasnt done that since.

First generation systems DO kinda have some setbacks, ya know... :-P

But ya know what? I HAVE IT AND YOUUUU DOOOONT!!!111

Just take a glance at that brick. Somewhere on it, it will say something like "Input: 120VAC ___A" (or "120VAC ____W"). That's the figure I'm interested to know.

Voltage and frequency, pretty standard. I'm more interested in knowing the amperage (or wattage) of it though, which should be listed either under the Input or Output part of the label.
