Wrestling Is The Only Real Sport

Real wrestling (NOT the fake WWF stuff) is the only true sport. You play basketball, you play baseball, play soccer. Do you [i]play [/i]wrestling? No. There is no [i]play [/i]involved.

Wrestling is the true way to prove yourself. If you win a football championship, good. Everyone likes to take credit for a win. But if you lose? Always someone else's fault. He should have done this, or if this person hadn't done that. In wrestling, there is no one else to take the blame. What you do is what you do and there is no one else out there you can fall back on, no one else to pick up your slack. And if you are found lacking, you will be left behind.

Wrestling is the only real sport. Everything else is just a game.

Wrestling isnt just about tackling

you pin point pressure points causing your opponent to faulter YOU JUST DONT TACKLE

so yeah I could easily see a second year wrestler taking on a 400lb defensive

And use his own weight agaist him? Sure. One of coaches (145lb) was once challenged by a former heavyweight (about 260 lb) who was back visiting. The heavyweight couldn't even get ahold of my coach, who was behind him and had him down on the mat in about 4 seconds flat. He then threw him into a spiral (a move which breaks the man's base, forcing his head down to the mat) and had him on his back pinned before the heavyweight could do anything about it.

Being "big and strong" will do jack for you on the wrestling mat if you don't have any skill to back it up. Hence, why wrestling is superior to football.
