hey all

once agian sirius is up to its old tricks to be better then XM. there hiring famous people to try and get the edge over XM.

*buzzer*

sorry you failed.

they are hiring Howard stern. to go to sattelite radio. he sucks as you might of read on my post in the morning radio thread. Grr!

They hired Martha Stewart Surprised. to get a women's channel or something. BLEH i say to you martha. stay to your stock market and your women's basket weaving in the north pole. Grr!

AND WORST OF ALL

they hired RICHARD SIMMONS. how dare they try to get that evil devil back to populairty. i heard some audio of his channel today and it stinks. *pee U*

He promise's he'll cry everyday on the channel and dance to his upbeat music scaring all the fat people. it was all peaceful until his diet thing came and made it the craze it is today. you are evil richard simmons.

and most of all you are the devils child sirius radio. go ahead and just die. you need it. dont you dare try to compete with XM. you'll never be better and you know it

XM is still way ahead in numbers for the sheer quality and variety they have over Sirius, but Stern could prove tough competition. Like it or not, millions still love him and will loyally follow him. Martha may be a bit less, considering her fans are old house wives and don't have as much use for listening to the radio as business people.

However, with such a delay on getting Howard on there, XM will still get more people in the meantime.

i know there are still many people following Ol' Howwy. Its only b/c he's been there for like EVER. hes ancient. and does things that are hip in todays stuff. but he never changes it much. Its mainly that same thing every time i see him. He talks to robin and get's chicks in is all he does on his show on TV.

Change it up man. Grr! and get that fat women out of your office if you want more people to listen. but you can't teach old dogs new tricks.

Get a clue from opie and anthony. ^_^ there are just as many people following my beloved O&A show. I smell a war ah brewin. Razz

I doubt that.

Howard's built an empire of men who like to hear about women. And trash talking of celebrities. And insults to the people who call in. Everyone knows who Stern is. I've never even heard of your two.

What you said is just the same with O&A. they do all that stuff. And even get hookers and really gorgeous women on there show. i've seen the pics on there site.

i'd give the link to them here. but that's not really a good idea considering how many kids there are on this site. It has lots of lets just say things that only adults such as you and i should see. :P

if you want the link i'll give it to you on yim. if you IM me. Catch ya later fallen

But that's the point. Stern is nation wide, well known by everyone. Even the people who hate him love to listen to his show because they love it when he gives them more of a reason to hate him. His show is broadcast everywhere, let alone the televised version on E!, so when it comes to making the switch to satellite radio, he's got all those people to follow him.

O&A only being well known on the east coast only gives them that demographic. Stern's got the east coast and beyond. It's a long long way for anyone to be as well known and loved/hated as him. Let alone just getting a program syndicated that much, to be such a household name takes years. Or in Stern's case, no shame and a really good gag.

If O&A are doing the same thing (whether they do it "better" or not), they don't have a chance in hell. The reason Stern pissed so many people off and is so popular now is that no one did what he was doing. His movie's actually pretty interesting in that respect. A nice little bio flick. Plus the required nudity n' all...

howard + nudity = scary and no good.

yes indeed you are right but i shall forever and always believe in the boys(O&A).

they shall prevail and someday become as popular as stern. i'm positive about it.

there on directTV now and they just went to canada with XM. can you say bigger audience. YAY :woot:

I smell a new topic coming Razz
