This is how I felt through the whole damned movie...
Anybody else suckered into seeing that flic...??? Uneasy

I really wanted to see that movie. I was saving up money to watch on my birthday 'n everything but I didn't have time.

I heard it was really good though. Like it wasn't your average war movie with shooting and gore and such. Its based on the Gulf War so of course there wouldn't be any of that. I'll have to see it for myself to truely understand like what you mean but I imagine that its pretty good. Kind of like about how war really changes you forever even without extreme violence.

Am I like way off base here?

Actually,...Your quite right!

I just love movies like Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers. This movie was OK...but It was just too...I guess thrown together to me...To much Sex, to much cursing, to much off base!

Half of that didn't even really happen...Don't get me wrong, alot of that did...It's just this movie, just pointed out the idotic choices of the US military...
If you really want the true idea of everything, READ A BOOK, or watch the History Channel. Jarhead was a huge dissapointment...to me at least...

(I actually did like it, It was just missing so much!)

I didn't want to go see this movie, but my friend drug me along, anyway. It was a little too depressing and angst for my taste, but I can't complain about the nakid men running around. That was the best part!
