I really liked Carrie and The Shining, much more than either of the movies. The last one I read was the Tommyknockers, which was also very good. |

(I didn't purposely post that much....) I've only seen Rose Red and parts of Dreamcatcher. That's all of his movies I've seen though. |

His long stories have their moments. I particularly like IT. But in all honesty the short stories are brilliant. Night Shift, and one of his other short story collections are just amazing. He cranks out so much material it's frightening the guy hasn't died yet from a brain overload.
Not that he should... _________________ What does it all MEAN? |

I like The Movie Rose Red, alot. The first time I saw it I was about 6. It scared me so much I couldn't watch it again until I was 10, but now that I have been desensitized I watch it all the time. |

i just read the comic book adaptation of The Gunslinger...
I was deeply impressed
but i haven't read any of the dark tower novels, so i don't know how it compares _________________ You probably recognize a pattern beginning to take shape. Not of the Fibonacci variety either, where said repetitions are woven into the very fabric of nature in some kind of cosmic mathematical coincidence that makes you wonder if there really is a design to everything after all, but more of Grandmother's quilt variety, where said repetition makes you wonder where in the world people can purchase such hideous floral pastel patterns and why they think you'll want to display them in your living room. |
