HEY ALL

the movie is called brokeback mountain. its about gay cowboy's

anyone seen it. i haven't yet. all i know is that there are two cowboys one is going to get married and the other is married. and they find love.

man is nothing american sacred. i mean gay cowboy's. Sad

America hold nothing sacred, except money.

There are probably no records of gay cowboys, cause in those times, much like many of the early days of this country. Homosexuality was spit apon, a sin, and shunned. Not to unlike today. So not likely that any cowboy would come out of the closet in the wild west, cause way things worked, he'd get his butt full of hot lead.

I won't defend or attack this movie, but I heard about it some time agon on Howard Stern, and they way it was described it, didn't sound to great. I'm gay, and I like to see a little of that more in movies, but I'm not sure about this one.

Sure by those who view "my kind" as vail beasts, will automaticaly call this movie dumb, and lable it horrable, without givng it a try.

All I say, don't knock it, till you've given it a fair open minded chance.

i'm not being that way about the movie. i'll probably go see it and find it odd but still enjoy it. ^_^

what makes me angry is that you said what you said in the post. HOWARD STERN :angry:

just the mear sound of his name anger's me. stupid hoo hoo. go to the little doggy company. you'll only fall to the O&A army. were planning a million pest march on howard stern on friday. when he walks to his first day on sirius to welcome him.

and on friday if you are a fan you can get a free lunch. but be sure to wear on opie and anthony t-shirt before you go. we'll be pleased to hear it.

anyways. that movie does sound odd. wonder what the movie is like. is it boring or is it all graphic. is it all love or does it have soem really good shooting. Sad

Nope. Never got into much cowboy movies. Avoid them like old war movies that my parents love.

State this first, befor I basicaly get off topic.

I probably won't see the movie, it dosen't look like my type of movie. I like Scifi horror, scifi, monster movies, funny movies, and fantasy. I'm not a huge fan of pure romance movies, or movies about the life of people. This movie sounds like its just about two guys, and their secret lives together.

now for somethign completly differn't....

Don't care who you listen too, Howard will keep on being number one.

Howard has, for years he's done his best to give people a good show, and has. But even the best can't handle being cencored and bleeped for so long. The people don't matter to the FCC, all the matters, is getting this guy, who is just trying to be funny and give people humor, and getting his ass off radio. They are freak'n trying to get Pay services under their controll, just cause they don't want Howard to have fun.

Oprah can go on about all kinds of sexual topics, and not get one bleep, but Howard has a farter on his station, and he's getting dumped. And screw the compainies too, for just taking it from the FCC. They could stan agance them, they could have stopped this before the FCC got so much power, but they didn't. They just bent over and took it.

I think it sucks he's going to a place I have to pay for to get, but when I can. I'll pay, cause I'm sick of turning on the radio and hearing songs cut to crap, I'm sick of getting three songs, and 40 commercals. I want Satalight, I want Sireous, and I can't wait to hear Howard getting back to the old days, with Lesbian dail a date, with full on farted songs, sexual talk that dosen't sound like grade school talk, to listen to all those stories with out being cencored.

One day, if they manage to get Howard gone, they'll turn on your O&A, they'll turn on all those other radio stations, and make them crappier and crappier till they are so worthless that no body wants them. Clear Cannal will fall, Infinity, and all those other companies and stations will fall. Pay Radio will do better, because people will get radio they want, and not have to listen to 24/7 commercals.

sorry to get off topic, but it makes me angry just thinking about the crap this government does. People are dieing over in a dumb war, and all any one cares about is getting Howard Stern, stopping gays from marrage, and having their heads so far up their butts, they could use their belly button as a peep hole.

Hey it makes sense. Two guys alone on a ranch, herding cattle. What else are they suppose to do. And get this, this movie was directed by the same guy who the directed the Hulk. ( I think)

John Wo wasn't it? didn't he do Croutching Tiger Hiden Dragon too? I liked that movie, but I do love forien subtitled movies. Best way to watch Anime if you don't know Japanese.

I could just see some tree top dancing, and Matrix like catle rusl'n. XP

Ang Lee, I believe. And yes, he did do Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Which I think I liked better than I would like Brokeback, but I don't know--I definitely won't be seeing it until it comes out on DVD, if then. Cowboys? Sorry, not my thing. I don't think there's anything wrong with it, and I definitely approve of their trying to shake up the tonne, but...I'm a fantasy person. Brokeback Mountain doesn't sound like something I'd be too fond of.
