Volunteering...

Due to the late ideas of purging empty accounts, deleting pictures with broken links and unfinished stages of pictures, I think we should make a group of volunteers who search through the FAC mainsite for the broken linked pictures, the many stages of the same picture, and the very well known, stick figures. I know that someone out there has drawn those things, and posted them here for someone to look at them but.... are they really interested on showing them anymore... or better yet... is someone interested in looking at something they aren't showing anymore?

So if Denis accepts this offer, i will volunteer to search for the broken linked pictures, the staged pictures and other things that are in FAC only to bother us all and take away storage space. Anyone interested? i think the links should be posted here, either of galleries or pictures.

You post the links, if they aren't really working... they are deleted.

This is not official, i'm waiting for Denis's or any other mods or admins response.

The purging will be done in a methodical order rather than a witchhunt, no need for spotting old accounts.

im not talking about acounts, im talking about broken pictures, pictures cant be sorted on a database according to their looks. Thats why in my opinion there should be a team of volunteers spotting pictures that aren't working or are repeated in FAC's database...

Broken pictures are automatically detected and processed.

If you find one, just use the report link.

as for stuff like multiple versions of the same pic. Fac has no offical policy on that yet, so nothing will be done to such pictures. You can however suggest to the artist that its better to just show the final version, or include the sketch or whatever in the same file.
