If I hear "Megalomaniac" one more time, I'm trashing the radio.

Red Hot Chili Peppers, especially "Blood Sugar Sex Magik". Kiedis did his best when he stuck to the basics.

That's okay. I'm the guitarist and vocals for a grunge band, Inside Out. Since I come up with guitar, and Orange Julius and Mike come up with drums and bass, I think we're pretty good. If only we practiced more often.............

lol it's ok to plug your bands or your friends' bands! it's just kinda pointless because, unless one of us happens to be in your area, no one will be able to see or hear them.

anyone but you
a moment too soon
monty's fan club
sidekick (from chicago)
harkonnen (don't even know if they're still around- i saw them last year)

muahaha local band plugging... i know a lot more, but they either suck or they're ska/punk/emo, so they don't really fit into the category.

Well, if anyone digitally records a live performance, they could let us see these bands.

nope. he's too much of a kurt wannabe. i liked "control" but blurry is/was way too overplayed and "she hates me" got pretty annoying after awhile.

Ha! That's exactly what I thought when I saw a video. Didn't even know who it was, but I remember wondering who the guy thought he was fooling lookin' and actin' like that.

Only one I like is "Away From Me". The lyrics are kind of funny, when you look at 'em.

Here I am I wanna be by myself
And I
Think you're f**king someone else
Now I gotta try and find a way
To take the knife out of my back

speakin' of funny lyrics... Another of my favorite songs. "Stupid, Stoned, and Dumb" by Poison.

"I'm 'bout as sad as they come
Yeah, I'm stupid stoned and dumb
I'm a pretty pitiful sight
Lately I can't get myself right

Boys I can't get this girl outta my head
I just know she's got another man in her bed
They said "Bret, let us give you some advice
In Hollywood, love don't come easy, it comes at a price"

So your girlfriend is a dancer
She makes love for money
Used to get it free
We really think you're lucky
Love's a two way street
You got hit by the bus
Don't break your heart boy
Or you'll end up like us

So you got dumped don't feel ashamed
We got a little somethin', somethin' gonna ease your pain
So I toke and I snort and I smoke and I sniff
By the way...what day is this?

You're a natural born loser
Don't you understand?
That's why you're born to sing in a rock n' roll band
Born to feel the pain and write sad songs
With losers like us this is where you belong

"

Woo, love that song. One of the best off Hollyweird.
