hey all

if you are unlucky enough to buy soul caliber III then tell us about it. i bought that dang game but i find a main flaw with it

[b] THE DANG GAME LIKES TO CORRUPT IT'S FILE'S WHENEVER IT CAN[/b]

so don't buy it. it corrupts the files and the character's you worked so hard on disappear and everything you've put your time into just goes away b/c of the dang thing corrupting all the time

i've checked a couple of sites and they all say that it happens alot with the game so. you know


IF it wasn't for that corruptioin thing. the game would be a most excellent game. i love everything about it when i does work. sorry to say i'm hating it.

I got it the day it came out. It just corrupted itself earlier today. D:

There was a backup for it on another memory card but still...my favourite game betrayed me.

on mine it won't let me load up my made up character's and on the cronicles of the sword part of the cd

it won't even let me battle any time at all it will just stay there and freeze up.

what kind of game developers would release a game that has a fatal bug in it. :angry:

i mean i shelled out 50 bucks for it. and when i took it out and cleaned it. the cd won't even be read by my ps2

what a rip off.

havnt come across that one yet! but i havnt played it 4 a couple of months, stopped playing it bout a week after i got it, it didnt do it 4 me like number 2 did!

I was about to buy the game, it's at 40, thanks for saying it. I would've hated spending so much on a game that has such a big bug on it.

Weird, mine works just fine. I wonder if I got a screwed-up version that actually works right? (shrugs) Mine hasn't corrupted at all so far, and I got it the day it came out...wonder what's wrong with it that it doesn't mess up...

I've read that what triggers the corrupting is deleting other files from your memory card where SC3 is stored, (which is what happened with mine, more or less) so maybe as long as you leave your memory card alone it will work alright? :huh:

I have the game and there isn't anything wrong with it. Well not yet. I haven't noticed any of those things, mabe you got one that has glitches in it or something.

Mine only messed up with the Chronocles of the Sword part, but that's because I probably messed it up. Oh well, I still luff the game. Playing as Talim is deadly though, her flips may cause a ring out for you. Playing against Setsuka on Tales of Souls part...Is suicide, complete suicide, I really hate Namco for that.

Apparently it seems to be caused by deleting other (non-SC3) files from the memory card with the SC3 save data on it.

Huh, I had no trouble with it so far. Nothing's been deleted, and I've had it for nearly 3 months.

Weird, several are already broken. Mine works just fine. The game doesn't corrupt itself.

mine not only corrupted itself alot but i had to replace it b/c the game wouldn't load up any more on my ps2

this one was fine until it corrupted -_-


sigh all that hard work for nothing.

i might as well work hard for money and then burn it .

Hm, the only thing that's corrupt in my file is doing that first-player stategy thing. It can't save. The rest is fine. It's not like I need it...do I?
