I'm like almost totally convinced that you didn't even read fallen's posts or any body else's for that matter. These people have been talking about Evanescence and when you open a thread in the Music section here, it becomes open grounds for both fans of the band and people who don't like the band.

The thread starter asked if this banded "rocked" and fallen, Tyler and others are simply saying that they disagree. There is no crime in that. Its simply a freedom of speech. And keeping this thread alive for that matter. You can't have an interesting thread if everyone who comes into it likes the band. It always goes something like this:

Post 1: Evanescence rocks! I love them. Who else loves them?
Post 2: I do! They rock my socks!
Post 3: Same here. They're teh best.

If you allow me to be blunt, thats really f**king boring to read. You need a discussion of some kind and clashing opinions to keep a thread alive. You should be thanking fallen and Tyler for keeping this generic fan-based thread alive for you and your black eyeliner clad group.

Ok, for the record, I hate Evanescence. I never listened to the CD, but I heard them live and had to wash the sh*tty lyrics and horrible rythm out of my ears before I could even touch the my bass guitar again.

But lets give the kids a break. If they wanna waste their youth listening to crappy muzak (as Tyler put it Razz

) lets leave them. Do we want to argue over this? Is it worth our time? No.

Guns 'N Roses is a band and have written various songs such as Welcome to the Jungle and Sweet Child 'O Mine. Both which are timeless rock 'n roll hits.

Go ahead and listen to Evanescence. I did when I was your age and I grew out of them six months after I bought their CD. Its a phase sweetie. You'll grow out of it. Smile

"Rocket Queen" is the last song on the hard rock band Guns N' Roses's debut album Appetite for Destruction. Apparantly, lead singer Axl Rose brought in a woman (possibly a stripper) into the studio for recording. Steve Thompson, who was a mixer on the album said the following in an interview:

"Axl wanted some pornographic sounds on Rocket Queen, so he brought a girl in and they had sex in the studio. We wound up recording about 30 minutes of sex noises. If you listen to the break on Rocket Queen it's in there."
